Crawlings Review – Knee Pads For All Stages!

April 27, 2013 by Erin 1 Comment

knee pads

Now that Bugsy is on the go, I’ve got to prepare for all those potential bumps along the way. As best I can without resorting to padding the walls, at least. So timing couldn’t be better for me to check out the knee pads Crawlings sent for us to review.[*]

Crawlings created knee pads for all stages in a child’s life; from crawling to toddling indoors and running amok outside. I chose the Silver Screen Robot Knee Pads for Bugsy. He is doing an army crawl, not fully on his hands and knees yet.

Materials and Deets

  • The knee pad body is made up of 80% premium cotton, 15% rayon, 5% spandex.
  • The designs on the front are embroidered.
  • Backs are vented {some use mesh}.
  • One Size Fits Most – 3″ W x 5 1/2″ L.
  • Elasticized band at top and bottom of the knee pad.
  • Center knee pad cushion is made of UV resistant EVA cushion.
  • Machine wash in cold water, low heat or air dry.

Getting shots of the knee pads in action? Easier said than done. Ha!

There are ventilation holes on the backs of the knees to minimize rashes. The knee pad itself is soft and comfortable – made with a water resistant and lightweight polymer cushion.

I did have to adjust his knee pads once or twice, I bet when he isn’t dragging his legs behind him they will stay put though. *wink* The whole time he had his knee pads on he didn’t tug at them or show any sign of discomfort. He moved around freely like he normally would. Since Crawlings Knee Pads are stretchy, they will carry on with Bugsy to the age of three!

    The Newest Designs

The spring designs feature Liberty of London fabrics! Each design is adorable. But I have to say, for the record, that I would *love* to see a fox design in the future. I would buy it in a heartbeat!

Crawlings Knee Pads would be a fantastic baby shower gift – even a birthday gift! You can grab a pair on the Crawlings website for $22 or check local store location list.

Feel free to connect with Crawlings on Facebook and Twitter to see their latest knee pad styles!

Love this product.! My daughter is transitioning into walking. The first time I took her outside she skinned her knees very bad on the driveway. I bought these and put then under her pants. They were very comfortable on her. She was able to crawl and walk without even noticing they were on. No more scratched knees for my baby! I would recommend this product to anyone. Plus who could not love how adorable they are and all the different styles they have!
