Excitement is in the air as everyone is getting ready for Superbowl parties. We will be attending a huge party at our friends house, and I have some tasty snacks to bring, thanks to CVS Gold Emblem! I was sent a variety of snacks to sample and was asked to share my thoughts with you. Of course, I have a feeling that my family will polish off the snacks that were sent to us and I will probably have to pick up a few more to take to the party, but that is okay!
The Gold Emblem line of products includes much more than just snacks though – you can find other grocery items too. I love that CVS is offering these products, as sometimes I don’t feel like waiting in a long line at the grocery store when I only need a few items (plus I am at CVS often, so this is just really convenient!). The Gold Emblem line has been revamped, and they now include easy-to-read nutritional labels and ingredient standards. These new ingredient guidelines exclude MSG and trans fats wherever possible. You can find the most important nutritional details right on front of the packaging. I think this is so important! Consumers SHOULD be able to know what they are eating, and to be able to find this information easily. Nothing is more frustrating that searching the back of a package for the main nutritional information (especially the small print with my eyes!).
But what about taste? Well I am impressed. We all are. My son is a huge fan of nuts (as I always say, “Nuts for the nutty!”), and he mentioned how fresh these taste and he could tell that they were quality products. He is also quite health-conscious, and always reading labels.
I set out a few bowls of the Gold Emblem Trail Mix, Deluxe Mixed Nuts and the Whole Raw Almonds for my family to try, and we all agreed that these are definitely something we would buy again and again. My daughter was especially fond of the Gummy Bears (she and I kind of had a tug-o-war game over these). I did get to try a few and they really are GOOD! The Gold Emblem Chocolate Chip Cookies were very fresh and tasty too.
We are anxious to try more Gold Emblem products. I usually snack on pretzels in the evenings, so I am going to pick up a bag or two of these the next time I am at a CVS Store.
Keep an eye out for CVS Gold Emblem products – they have a brand new logo, and attractive packaging – you can’t miss them!
