Let’s face it, life is busy! It is hard trying to keep track of where you have to be, when you have to be there, and which kid has to be wearing the right gear when you finally arrive. Keep track of everything with the HomeTeam app.
Available in iTunes for just $1.99 HomeTeam is the ideal app for busy sports team parents, players, coaches, and managers. You will be able to track rosters, schedules, and contacts for multiple teams you have children in or coach. HomeTeam allows you to text or e-mail all players and parents with a single tap. Convenient right? You can update your device calendar or team calendar automatically. The HomeTeam app works with any team sport and there is no Web membership required.
HomeTeam allows you to create teams for each member of your family or if you are a coach each team you coach. You can add emails for each player and you can then email entire teams in just a few steps. This would be handy if you needed to find your kid a ride or if you were snack mom and couldn’t bring it because you were sick. I like that you can let everyone know in just seconds if there was something wrong or if you needed help. Having these features on your phone (or iPad) makes it all the better.
The calendar feature tells you when, where, and who you will be playing. Touch any of the games and all of that information is right there in front of you. Our soccer field is set up with A,B,C, and D fields. How often I forget where we are supposed to be and have to search around to find the team. Once all the information you choose to add is entered into the HomeTeam app it will be a breeze to add whole seasons in no time.
Add individual team member information to each team you create. Details include jersey numbers, position, phone numbers, emails, age, even uniform size are all options with the Team Roster tab. Especially handy for the coaches or parent helpers. I am glad that HomeTeam did not opt to add children’s addresses for safety. I probably wouldn’t give out my daughter’s date of birth either but you don’t have to fill in that area if you don’t want to.
I think that the HomeTeam app offers a lot of features all under $2. HomeTeam is very easy to navigate around and entering team information was a snap for me.
