I add tomatoes to almost everything! My girls love a little Mexican taste to their foods so it is easy for me to incorporate diced tomatoes into meals almost everyday! One of my favorites to make is just shredded chicken, diced tomatoes (undrained), a can of corn, and a can of black beans. Add some taco seasoning, cheese, and chips and my girls beg for 3rds! Currently I am watching my weight so I skip the chips and only use about 1/2 the cheese but add salsa, still delish!
During the winter it is next to impossible to find decent fruit. It is high priced and somewhat tasteless. Not the case with a delicious can of Del Monte fruit though. We broke out the Sliced Peaches one day for lunch and they were sweat, perfectly ripe, and canned in an extra light syrup. Less sugar is a mama’s friend! The Lite Pear Halves were just as good. I trust Del Monte to give me a quality product that my family will love, and they have never let me down!
