Easter Dinner Delivery

This will be the easiest and likely the best tasting Easter dinner we’ve ever had because someone else does all the work while I get all the glory. Here’s our Easter dinner delivery menu ideas for Easter 2022.

We have ideas for:

  • Easter Dinner Entrees
  • Starchy Sides
  • Veggie Sides
  • Easter Dessert Delivery
  • Easter Dinner Table Decor

This year I’m leveling up my Easter dinner with a gourmet delivery service from Mackenzie Limited. I was fortunate enough to be able to sample some of their dishes right before the holiday in preparation for Easter Day.

We may also have Easter Brunch delivered too because the kids love to sit at the dining table for Sunday brunch. The kids enjoy being able to sit and chat with me about what’s going on in their world over a spread of French toast, omelets, some fresh fruit, and a bit of real maple syrup. During this time, they have my undivided attention.

Easter Dinner Entree

Fish

I decided to keep it light this year with a salmon entree. Mackenzie Limited sent over their Stuffed Salmon Roast for us to sample. My 3 year old son Kairo took a bite and said, “mmm, yummy!” I was shocked that a 3 year old would have a taste for spinach and goat cheese stuffed salmon, but he probably gets his exquisite taste from his momma.

To prepare this entree from Mackenzie Limited, I just followed the instructions on the box to the letter. It came out beautifully and was easy to cut into. You’d never know that it was frozen because the taste was so fresh and delicious.

Lobster tails are another entree that presents very well if you’re entertaining guests. They are the heaviest part of the lobster but still don’t contain much meat so I suggest pairing them with crab cakes to keep family and guests satiated. The same goes for shrimp. You may need pounds and pounds of it just to keep everyone happy so offer them up with some red meat or other seafood.

Red Meats

Ever try Beef Wellington? It is extremely difficult to prepare and can take years just to master it. Well, that’s what Gordon Ramsey said on his show Master Chef. But as long as we’re having Easter dinner delivered to us, we might as well elevate the holiday with something we would never or could never prepare ourselves.

A nice crown roast will impress all of your guests. You can either buy the cut already prepped from your butcher or just use a delivery service to send it straight to your door. This type of dish also makes for a great centerpiece since it will steal the show from all of your cute Easter decor.

Any type of pot roast or even meatloaf can really make Easter dinner special so long as you don’t overcook it and season it well, but again…I’m not doing the work. I’m only having my Easter dinner delivery come straight to my door.

Poultry

Elevate your chicken breast or turkey breast with a light and tasty stuffing. Poultry dishes like chicken cordon bleu seem easy enough to make, but not if you have a dozen guests to entertain, so before you go searching the internet for recipes, you should definitely consider other options.

Duck is by far my favorite entree in the poultry category, but sometimes there just isn’t enough meat on the bone to feed the whole family if you buy the entire bird. Instead, just serve the breast or the leg with thigh included.

Turducken

These have been gaining popularity for years now. It’s a Turkey stuffed with duck, stuffed with chicken, and I’m stuffed just blogging about it. I have yet to try a turducken, but when I do, I will certainly NOT be preparing it myself.

Starchy Sides

Most meals include some sort of starch, but how much longer can we enjoy the same bland potato recipe? How many!

Easter dinner is when you can really take potatoes to the next level but have you ever googled a recipe for potatoes au gratin? I would develop carpal tunnel syndrome before I finish slicing the 500 razor thin potato rounds needed for the dish. If you’ve got the stamina, kudos to you!

Mackenzie Limited – Bacon and Cheddar Twice Baked Potato

Bacon and cheddar twice baked potatoes have always been one of my favorites, but as soon as I hear that they require 2 rounds in the oven, that’s when I’m out for the count. Here’s how our delicious potatoes came out after thawing, and reheating at 350 degrees for just 25 minutes.

Veggie sides

It seems I’m the only one in my household that can stand to eat a vegetable. I have resorted to tricking my kids or just plain begging them to eat them. This goes for my husband too, but when I saw these little babies (pictured below) as a menu option, I knew they would gobble them up…and they did!

Mackenzie Limited – Asparagus Asiago Spears

These Asparagus Asiago Spears are like little pigs in a blanket… if the pig had escaped and slipped an asparagus tip in its place! The pastry crust was flaky after baking and had the perfect amount of asiago cheese. When they asked for another and another, I didn’t dare say no.

Asparagus Asiago Spears are part of Mackenzie Limited’s Easter menu so I’m not sure if they are offered year round. I’d try them while they’re being offered as an Easter dinner delivery option.

Dessert

This is the best part of the meal and I’m a cookie-aholic!

Easter Postcard Cookies anyone?

These are so precious and almost too delightful to eat. Almost!

They taste like the shortbread cookies that come in the blue grandma tin, except they make a much better presentation and have the perfect amount of sweetness.

Mackenzie Limited Easter Postcard Cookies

Each cookie was individually wrapped with a bow, which made them easy to incorporate into my table decor. I placed one cookie on top of each dessert plate. They stayed in my freezer until we were ready for them and just served them at room temperature. It was perfect with a spot of tea after dinner.

Easter Dinner Table Decor

Staying in the theme of having an easy Easter dinner delivery, I also wanted an easy clean up too. I made some great Easter decor choices that made cleaning up much a breeze.

  1. Plastic dinner plates
  2. Fancy paper napkins
  3. High quality plastic cutlery

I decided to use a phony plate for dinner because those are the dishes that get the messiest along with the cutlery. When we’re all done with dinner, it all goes into the recycle bin. The dessert plate was barely used because I only served a cookie.

That’s using my Eighty Mph Mom noodle!
