Camping seems to be one of those activities that people either love or want to have nothing to do with. I definitely used to fall into the “I’ll be at the local hotel” category but I have slowly grown into liking camping a little bit more. It helps that my girlfriend loves camping and likes being the one to put together what we need and doesn’t mind doing the cooking, too!
Finding the right tent for camping is a must (I know some people like sleeping under the stars…I’ll be in the tent!). Our family was sent a 4-person tent from Kelty and while us adults haven’t gone camping, our 15-year-old has and set up the tent with the help of a friend. Both kids were volunteering at a Girl Scouts camp at a local horse ranch and I thought that that would be the perfect test for this tent. If two teenagers who don’t camp all that much can set up the tent all by themselves, in the dark, then I bet even I could do it!
The good news is that they were able to set it up and sleep in it all night. Taking it down the next day was also simple and it came back to our house in the carrying case it came in so that’s great news. I always used to think that tents were way too difficult to use but after seeing this camping trip, I bet I could do it, as well.
The Sequoia 4-person tent retails for $249.95 and feels roomy inside with a large door and can accommodate adults 6 feet tall standing upright.

It looks very durable.
The tent sounds great. It would be great for our camping trip to the mountains.
It is a very nice tent.
This looks like a very nice tent. It has been years since I have gone camping but need to give it a go again sometime.
Looks like a good tent
Oh I love love love that this is so easy to set up. I love camping but remember the sheer agony of trying to get a tent set up.
My son is in boy scouts and we are actuallu looking for a good tent since he might be going on the camping trip this spring. I like how easy it is to put up and take down.
