  1. I went to my first major League Baseball game this summer on the Fourth of July. it was really fun and totally worth the 3 and a half hour drive to see my favorite team win in person.

  2. My husband and I did a day trip to a zoo. Something we haven’t done since the kids were littler. Such a fun and relaxing day.

  3. My family went rockhounding quite a bit. Found fish fossils informed BLM. It was really interesting, even took them out to the location sometime after two state archeologists and one geologist/paleontologist. My son 6 and daughter 3 were able to hold a fossil at an extremely young age!

  4. I did a California road trip with my family. We visited Yosemite, San Francisco and several other areas.

  5. We took Grandkids to Hershey Park in the motor home. This is our second year doing this and we had as much fun this time as we did last year. GREAT memories forever.

  6. I went to Knights Action Park with my husband last week and stayed in a suite at a hotel. Thanks.

  7. We traveled to San Antonio this summer… Sea world, camping, nature safari, caverns, hiking…. we had a blast and the kids were worn down every day!

  8. The summer has been fun, we spent a lot of time swimming and running…my favorite activity. We’ve also planted a garden that has been producing a large amount of tomatoes and cucumbers with a fair amount of butternut squash.

  9. We had a family reunion this summer. We haven’t seen that part of our family for about 3 years so it was good to get together. Then after it was done I broke my leg. Needed surgery and now am in a cast for about 6 weeks. Could be worse could have been before or during our reunion.

  10. I went and visited my grandma this summer for her birthday. I got to see lots of my cousins and spend time with my grandma, who is in her 90’s. It was a lovely trip.

  11. We rented a cottage on a lake in Vermont for the week and went kayaking and paddleboarding and had a lot of fun but we were happy to return home to our house at the beach!

  12. I took a trip to Chicago & had a tour of the Goose Island brewery, then went to Mexico & attended a cooking school for a week.

  13. I didn’t do a lot this summer, but I did have the opportunity to spend the day at an amusement park with my family, which was a nice break!

  14. I went fishing in the river. We took the boat out just as the sun was coming up. Fog was lifting from the water. Such a beautiful, serene moment.
