I have always enjoyed games where I have to think quickly. I love a challenge, and the board game Flippin’ Out certainly provides this challenge as well as a whole lot of fun!
My friend and I decided to play this with her daughter and step-daughter, so we set up the board according to the directions and got right down to business.
What is Flippin’ Out?
This party game easily translates in a car favorite. A category is selected- say rock bands- then you take turns coming up with a rock band that starts with each letter of the alphabet. It’s like Scattegories on steroids!
I couldn’t agree more! It is really fast paced, but what a blast. The game comes with letter tiles for each letter of the alphabet, category cardsan hourglass timer, game board and player pieces. You take turns by calling out the category and everyone tries to think of a word that starts with one of the letters of the letter pieces. The tricky part is when the remaining letters are dwindling and you have to come up with words with just a few letters to choose from!
The spinner:
This is what the category cards look like:
We played with four people total, but to play with teams would be a hoot. I cannot wait to try this at our next get-together to see what things our adult friends come up with. But watch out – I am pretty good at Flippin’ Out!

Fun! We also get together with our friends and play board games. But after a while they get old… this would be a nice new game to try!

This looks like a fun new game. I love board games but often have trouble finding people to play with me.
