This post is made possible by Kohl’s.[*]
This Thanksgiving, I found myself hosting the feast. Unexpectedly. There were a couple things we’d need to pull this off without a hitch. So I did some window shopping online at Kohl’s.
Did you know Kohl’s carries Food Network essentials? That’s right! From cookware to flatware, serveware to linens – Food Network and Kohl’s has everything you’ll need! They even offer fantastic tips and tricks to create memorable gatherings.
Food Network™ 5-pc. Tasting Set
I couldn’t pass this up! Four square stoneware bowls nestle in a bamboo tray, it makes for a great dip platter. I could see hummus, pico de gallo, guacamole, and baba ghanoush served together with a bounty of vegetables.
I first used this set to serve up some paleo chocolate pudding. These 3″ bowls are the perfect portion size for our desserts.
Priced at just $19.99, I’d love to get a second set!
Food Network Digital Thermometer & Timer
We used our Food Network Digital Thermometer & Timer this Thanksgiving. From when we placed our 16-lb. pastured turkey in the sea salt brine {we checked the brine’s temp often to ensure it was below 40°} to when it was roasted.
The Mister stuck the probe in the thickest part of the turkey’s breast and with its magnetic back, we simply stuck the thermometer on our fridge and waited until it beeped. I appreciated that I didn’t have to open the oven door at all to check the temperature. No sense in losing any of the heat from that 450° oven!
I should also note that this is the first year we spatchcocked our turkey. So I was also curious if the time would match up to the method I was following. I glanced when the timer went off at 90 minutes. The thermometer beeped. The turkey breast’s temperature was spot on – 160°. So we removed it from the oven, covered it, and let it rest before carving. We owe a lot of thanks to this year’s turkey success to our Food Network Digital Thermometer & Timer! You can grab one for the foodie you know for $29.99.

Reading your review I want those bowls. We have issues without pudding because we have to put them in regular dinnerware bowls which are too big and take up way to much room. I love these
I like the Food Network items show here. I like the meat thermometer, I need to get one of these! The five piece mini bowl set is perfect for the Holidays to serve different items in. I really like the color.
The Food Network Digital Thermometer & Timer are so handy, they save you from ruining roasts and such. I love shopping at kohls
We could definitely use that digital thermometer! We currently have a manual one and it’s a pain to use.
Love the 5 dip set, I can also use it for jams for breakfast when we have guests!
I really love the 5 piece mini dip bowl set – that would really be perfect for get togethers when you have different type of dip and sauces for different types of food like veggies and chips.
you make it look easy. hopefully i could do the same.
I love Kohls.I really like those square stoneware bowls!
I use little dip bowls for portion control (my own). Of course, I have several set out simultaneously…
I realize one of the kitchen tools I do not use enough is the thermometer. When I cook Chicken or Turkey, it is important to get the temp right! We use dipping bowls a lot for sauces when I cook asian and indian cuisines!
I really should get a digital thermometer, I do not check the internal temp of my chicken and turkey and have occassionally undercooked it!
Kohl’s sales so many awesome items and I like the meat thermometer. I need to get a new one because mine is broken. I like the cute dishes to serve Holiday food in!
oooo i want your paleo chocolate pudding recipe!
I love the 5 piece mini dip bowl set.
The nearest Kohl’s is about an hour away so I don’t get there very often, but when I do, I always spend way too much time in their kitchen department. It’s like crack for a foodie. LOL
i love kohls and they carry a great selection of items for the kitchen. i really like the bowls that are shown, but what i really need is a digital thermometer. maybe i will put this on my wish list for Christmas.
I love shopping at Kohl’s and part of the reason is for the Food Network items.
I enjoy shopping at Kohl’s – great sales!
Going to check out their kitchen things.
I don’t get to shop at Kohl’s as much as I would like but the next time I am there I will be looking for this line. I love those bowls. I want to see if I can find them.
love kohl’s i love the square dishes and the themoitor!!!
I need that Food Thermometer. It looks better quality than the one I used to own. It was never accurate.
I’d like to have a versatile thermometer like that one. I have to open the oven to check mine.
I would love to have that mini dip bowl set myself! Thank you for sharing.
I like shopping at Kohl’s for kitchen gadgets.
My brother would love that digital thermometer and timer – he’s always checking the temp on his meats because of some workout plan he’s on.
I love the dipping bowls! The shape is really appealing.
Sadly no Kohl’s here in the islands but I shop Kohl’s online and am interested in the Food Network cookware!
I like those little bowls. We eat a lot of Asian food at home so those would be great.
I could really use the thermometer. I like that you can have it outside of the oven.
The Food Network products at Kohl’s are very nice! I purchase a chopping board from there.
I haven’t seen any of their kitchen products but those look really good an sturdy
This looks great! We bought an inexpensive thermometer for my mom last year, and it broke after one use. This is a good price for a nice digital thermometer and Khols is wonderful about returns should anything go wrong with it 🙂
Thank you for sharing this post. Looking at this review reminds me that I do need to get some kitchen goodies, and I have to confess that I love Kohls for that. They have great style, you always find very useful kitchen appliances/tools, and then again some surprises. I love the bowls, though hubby prefers round ones, but I would consider the thermometer because we cook a lot of chicken year round.
I have very few items within the kitchen, this would be great – I had to sell the majority to pay medical bills! But I kept the necessities: I love to prepare meals and I have a stove and fridge which were past down to me by that of my grandparents. I dont have any serving dishes so I have to serve from the pan its cooked-in! Winning any of these prizes will be an item worth winning as I know a use for all of them!
This has rebuilt my confidence even more that better things are on the horizon! And I hope that I’m going to be able to make the dreams I had as a child that of reality! Therein I just hope to win something that will change my whole life (that would be almost anything) therefore I can use everything I’ve registered for thus far and more!
I hope everyone has a great New Year -and- Good Luck in the Sweepstakes!
