  1. I love fresh bread and making it by hand but the bread maker has been such a time saver. I get homemade bread with less hassle

  2. My best cooking tool is my Ninja blender. My best cooking tip is that while my oven in pre-heating, I pre-heat the pan I will be using along with the oven. My dishes seem to cook better than when I just place a cold pan in the oven.

  3. I love my apple corer. It is not the kind that also slices. Which is precisely what I love about it! I like that it keeps my apple intact! It even works for taking a bit of the center portion of a cupcake out to fill with filling.

  4. I make Amish cinnamon rolls that are the best, moist and delicious. The trick is using instant vanilla pudding which keeps it moist

  5. Have all your ingredients out and prepared before you start. It makes it much easier, nothing ever gets left out.

  6. My best cooking tip is: Take away the stress by doing the prep the night or day before. It saves a lot of time!

  7. My best tip is to soak pasta in water in a sealed bag for a couple hours or overnight – if you do that, you can cook it in about a minute when you add it to boiling water or a hot pan!

  8. My best cooking tip is to lay everything out before you start and make a plan as to what you will make and in what order. It makes for a more efficient cooking experience and you don’t have to worry about forgetting any ingredients or even worse, being mid-recipe when you need 3 eggs and find out you only have 1 left..
    plan ahead!

  9. my best cook tip is clean as you go, makes it easier at the end instead of facing a counter full of stuff to put away, throw away or a sink full of dishes to wash.

  10. My tip is to check on your food in the oven because you may burn it. It has happened to me several times.

  11. err. well im not too good at cooking..so i guess make sure to set the timer so you don’t forget about the food and burn it.

  12. there is NO better kitchen tool than a KitchenAid Mixer. Nothing. I have a lot of attachments for it- the meat grinder/sausage stuffer, the slicer, the pasta roller. I plan on the ice cream making bowl now. You can do it all with this baby.

  13. My best tip is don’t be afraid to experiment. I never follow a recipe exactly. The trick is remembering what you did when a dish turns out to be a keeper.

  14. Never assume that the cooking time on the package is correct. ALWAYS keep on eye on it. It prevents from undercooking or overcooking.

  15. Use applesauce in place of butter or oil in dessert recipes, you can use less sugar and the dessert will stay moist longer.

  16. My tip is make your basic recipe and then start smelling your spices. You’ll know what will taste good in it!

  17. My secret weapon in my kitchen is my blender. I’ve always got fresh fruits and veggies on hand, so my favorite snack or quick-meals always consists of throwing a bunch of healthy stuff in my blender and mixing it up. This is also the quickest way for me to eat all my produce that is about to expire. I’d hate to let any go to waste! And drinking it is much more convenient than trying to sit and eat all that fresh produce by hand! Plus, the kids are getting healthy greens in without even knowing it. I love sneaking spinach and kale into sweet, fruity shakes.

  18. I’m always asked to bring pie to gatherings, partly because my crust is usually pretty good. My tip: Don’t overmix it! Make sure the pieces of butter are still visible–larger than pea-sized–when you roll it out.

  19. my best tip is always cook for two more people, that way you always have left overs you can freeze. you always have a good quick meal at hand and after a week or so you can microwave them daily and take a week off from cooking.

  20. Clean up as you cook – makes it clean-up so much easier after dinner. Also, using spices is essential to bring out the best flavor in foods – especially meat and veggies.

  21. I leave the fat on the steaks/meat while they cook as it holds in the juices and they’re a lot more tender… You cut the fat off after you grill them or you leave it on and eat it.

  22. My best tool is a very sharp knife! I have a soduku knife that I use everyday for cutting veggies and anything else I need for cooking.

  23. My best tool is my dishwasher. Cooking would not be nearly as fun if I had to scrub everything clean by hand!

  24. Tip. Do that mise en place trick that chefs use…..I get all the ingredients and tools/gadgets that I will need out on the counter before I start cooking.

  25. My tip: I make a ton of pumpkin rolls for the holidays and they’re so pretty until someone slices them with a knife. So instead, I use a piece of dental floss wrapped around…just cross the thread ends and pull. Neat, clean slices every time!

  26. The best trick for me personally would be to stay out of the kitchen, but heck, I’m starting to like it. I like my blender

  27. My best cooking tip is to get all the ingredients out, measured and ready to go before you start cooking/baking.

  28. Common sense and trial and error. I find that if I let meat and chicken defrost in the naturally, the favor is better.

  29. My best tip is when using the oven, make sure to line the pan with foil or a silipad (depending on what you’re cooking) for fast and easy clean up.

  30. My best cooking tip is to follow instructions. I’m a recipe girl. Also use the microwave. Using the microwave saves me on my cooking time.

  31. My best tool by far is my Kitchen aid mixer. I’ve had it almost 30 years and it’s still going strong.

  32. Have a weekly planner and get everything for it the week before, so you’re not scrambling around looking for a replacement for something you don’t have for a meal or a ingredient.

  33. You can add a can of pureed black beans to replace eggs and oil in a brownie mix to reduce calories and add fiber.

  34. My best tip is to plan ahead. Nothing is worse than starting a recipe and realizing your missing ingredients.

  35. My best cooking tool is my bread machine – whole grain bread and I can freeze the dough and bake small loaves as needed. In the summer, I also use the bread maker to bake casseroles and other things, keeps the house cool.

  36. My best cooking tip is my crockpot, I just start something in the morning and when I get home at night dinner is ready.

  37. To be honest I dont cook because my husband does.lol The only thing i really use from the kitchen is the microwave though.lol Thanks for the giveaway!

  38. My best cooking advice would be to always follow the recipe if you’re not a great cook. haha. Thanks for the opportunity to win!

  39. To use pam to spray on the bottom of cookie sheets, pans or whatever your using to bake it helps to avoid a sticky mess

  40. i always make sure I lay my ingredients out before I start (because it is very stinky to find out you are out of something mid way through. Thank you

  41. i always multi-task. instead of using cutting boards, knives, pots, pans, etc and throwing them in the sink till later, I wash them as I’m cooking.
