Today’s Featured Product:  World’s Best Origami Book!

I have always been fascinated with Origami, and I watched with amazement when other kids in school folded and folded to create something fun.  I am excited to be hosting this giveaway today, as I think it will make a great gift for kids and adults alike!

Remember folding paper into a hand-held fortune teller, paper airplane or secret note square? The new book World’s Best Origami {Alpha Books} challenges readers with more than 100 of the most unique and best-loved origami patterns ever created.

About the author:

Origami lessons, how to do origami, origami books

In World’s Best Origami, Robinson shows readers how to transform a flat sheet of material into a three dimensional sculpture through folding without the use of cuts or glue. “Origami is an integral part of our everyday lives: recreation, therapy, entertainment, problem solving, engineering, and education. Despite all these varied possibilities, most people make origami for fun and relaxation,” says Robinson.

When beginning a new hobby, it’s easy to rush into the most challenging or exciting project available. Many times this leads to frustration, and, in origami’s case, a lot of wasted paper. World’s Best Origami provides the first-time folder with the basics and progresses towards more difficult models. It also includes a thorough refresher course for more experienced folders.

The book teaches readers how to:

  • Choose the best paper for the project
  • Make basic folds and perfect creases
  • Follow clear and simple folding instructions for a successful project outcome
  • Gain an understanding of origami symbols

How would you like to win a copy of this fabulous book? This will make an excellent holiday present for that creative person in your life!
