I love good food and I really love a good deal! Grocery Outlet bargain market must know me well, because their stores are stocked with my favorite things – for less! They carry specialty and organic food items up to 50% less than a traditional grocery store!
We offer brand name products at 40% to 60% below traditional retailers. Our offering is wide: groceries, frozen, deli & refrigerated, produce, fresh meat (selected stores), general merchandise — seasonal products, housewares, toys, and gifts — health & beauty, and a most impressive inventory of beer & wine. Our buyers shop the nation and the world by traveling thousands of miles each year just so we can offer the best brand-named products for less than you would pay conventionally. We love to save you money.
How does Grocery Outlet offer such low prices? They buy brand name products directly from their manufacturers for pennies on the dollar. When a manufacturer has surplus inventory like excess packaging or manufacturing overruns they call Grocery Outlet first. Neat right?
I was sent a few specialty items from Grocery Outlet and I have to say that I am impressed! They not only have standard grocery items, but gourmet goods and even personal care products. I have issues with expiration dates on food (I am constantly checking them), so the first thing I did was check the dates. None of the items I received were expired (or even near their expiration dates).
I received some delicious organic pasta:
Do you see the price on it? Yep – only $1.49! I really love how I can see the savings right there on each item. I received several other products as well, including Yorkshire Tea, which had a savings of $1.50! This tea is pretty yummy, I might add. It is perfect for late afternoon when want a warm drink, but don’t want caffeine.
Burt’s Bees is one of my favorite brands, so I was delighted to discover that my review products included Burt’s Bees lotion! Though I love Burt’s Bees, they can sometimes be costly. Not at Grocery Outlet! This body lotion is marked at $2.49 (a savings of $1.00).
Grocery Outlet has you covered for back-to-school shopping to. You can stock up on snacks and lunch items for the kids, for a fraction of the price of other stores. Plus, you might even find some goodies you hadn’t thought of before to include in their lunches!
I am thrilled to discover Grocery Outlet. In these tough economic times, we can all use a little help saving money. What’s funny is there is actually a Grocery Outlet in my city, but I have never been inside the store. After receiving these items for review, I know I will be stopping in frequently to see what I can find, and I am anxious to see the savings!
