Hallmark Comic-Con Ornament and Gift Pack Review and Giveaway

Comic-Con is one event I have always wanted to attend. Although I will not be there this year, Hallmark will be…and in a big way! This will be Hallmark’s fourth year participating in Comic-Con, and they have some really fun items to show off this year, namely Hallmark’s 2011 Keepsake Ornament line.  This year Comic-Con will be held in San Diego from July 20th – 24th.

Hallmark will be there showcasing 2011 comic book and pop culture Keepsake Ornaments, including characters from Star Wars, Star Trek, Thor, Batman, Twilight, Pirates of the Caribbean and more.

Throughout the convention, popular Hallmark characters hoops & yoyo™ will make visits to the Hallmark booth. Comic-Con attendees also will have the opportunity to engage with the creators of Hallmark characters, including Bob Holt and Mike Adair (hoops&yoyo), Peter Martin (Asteroid Andy) and John Wagner (Maxine).

Oh how I love Maxine! I think she is hilarious, and to actually meet her would be a blast.  Did you know that Maxine is celebrating her 25th year of “yelling it like it is”?  Yep – 2011 is a pretty special year for that crabby old lady 🙂  I absolutely love these Maxine slippers that I received in my gift pack:

I was sent a really fun Hallmark Gift Pack, which included a Jack Sparrow ornament (*SWOON*) from the 2011 Keepsake Ornament line, slippers, a Maxine Eye Mask, hoops & yoyo luggage tags and really funny note pad, and more.  I can’t wait to sport the adorable hoops & yoyo luggage tags on my suitcases at BlogHer!

Hallmark always has the best ornaments and this year is no different.  Here are a few of the other ornaments that will be featured at Comic-Con this year:

Make sure you check out the complete line of 2011 Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments!  It’s not too early to start collecting them (and before your favorites sell out!).

In addition to on-site Comic-Con activity, Hallmark will administer various product giveaways of some current Keepsake Ornaments as well as exclusive and signed products via Twitter (@HallmarkPR, #ComicCon, #SDCC) before and during the conference. Make sure you pay attention to these hashtags!

  64. I would most love to have Spock. He was my first crush as a young girl. I even had a Spock doll back in the day. I guess it is not surprising that I turned into the nerd I am today with a tip of the hat to old Spock!
