​​Aldi’s offerings of spirits are well known and well respected throughout the home maker and mommy blogger world.

Shopping at Aldi for the Holidays

During the holiday season Aldi offers an amazing selection of wine varieties. I love a good sparkling wine and there are also the Aldi wine advent calendars which sell out every year.

This year I am heading to Aldi stores in my area to collect these wines as soon as they hit shelves. I was able to get these two just as an associate was unpacking them.

These are definitely on my gift list. Usually I try to get a more expensive bottle of wine but this year I have a lot of vendors and friends to gift. These piqued my interest when I saw the price point. 

Don’t guffaw at the low cost, the label is cute enough to turn this into a gift. Pair it with some luxurious wine glasses or a charcuterie board set and nobody will call you a cheapskate.  

Check your location for a selection of meats, nuts, dried fruits and cheese. They are available most of the year. I have shopped at Aldi for every entertaining occasion and was always pleased with the outcome.

These sweet wines add a nice blend of flavor to your holiday meal. Think of them as a replacement for the blob of cranberry we all grew up with. 

How to enjoy Aldi holiday wines

It’s also a great idea to enjoy these as an aperitif wine or dessert wine. So many possibilities for just $4.99.

The best thing about this wine is the twist off top. Effortless entertaining and less intimidating for anyone who might be new to trying wine this season. 

If I ever buy a cork again for my modest gatherings I am going with one of these guys. I refuse to struggle for my booze!
