Next, deflate the life jacket by removing and inverting the black cap on the oral inflation tube. Then push the one-way valve while compressing the air chamber to release all the air. Inspect the chambers for leaks or damage and replace the jacket if you find any leaks.

Step 4: Cleaning 

Clean the life jacket with mild soap and water to remove dirt and stubborn stains. Avoid harsh chemicals since they may damage the fabric and affect its performance. Then rinse with plenty of clean water and hang the jacket away from direct sunlight. 

Step 5: Re-arm the Jacket

Once the life jacket is completely dry, re-install the air chambers and install the Co2 cylinder and water sensor bobbin. Fold the jacket as per the manufacturer’s instructions, then store it in a cool and dry place.
