Easy Listening for Kids with Jooki Music Player

I think my preschooler speaks quite clearly but our smart devices don’t seem to and she gets so frustrated when she tries to get them to play her music. “Computer, play the Alphabet song.” Smart device: “Playing songs by Abba”. It never fails to mishear her. She screams to me. “MOMMY, CAN YOU PLAY IT FOR ME?!” That’s why I was so excited for Jooki, the smart kids music player.

Jooki is a kids’ music player that is portable, splash proof, and easy to use! With different adorable characters, Jooki can play different music using magical ToyTouch® technology. It’s perfectly simple for little ones, like my four year old.

Using WiFi, I set up my little girl’s Jooki with a free Spotify account. She dictated her favorite songs for me to add into a playlist and I attributed each playlist to a character. Her character tokens are adorable too. They all come with pre-attached songs and she loved the mellow song that was playing on the dragon so she actually left that one as is. The cute little blue whale she, of course, put with a playlist that begins with that Baby Shark song. I’m pretty sure “What Does the Fox Say?” is on her fox character. The knight is full of a bunch of songs she likes that Mommy and Daddy listen to. Her ghost has a bunch of the obnoxious children’s songs she likes that make me ever-so-thrilled that she now has her own portable music player and I don’t have to listen to them (haha!)

She was so happy to be creating her own playlists. Every song, whether we love or hate it, was completely up to her to decide and create. Now, any time she wants to listen to them, all she has to do is place the character on top of her Jooki and the sound fills the room. Actually, the parental controls allow us to control the volume of the Jooki but if you put it on full capacity, that little speaker packs quite the sound!

Since the control is yours (and your little one’s!), you can also put stories and podcasts on the Jooki. You can also save your own MP3s to it. After you’ve set it up for your child, they can operate Jooki completely without you! She loves the wrist strap on it because she just carries around the house with her, even to the table for lunch. I know that soon, Jooki will be coming out with another version for slightly older kids, but I can tell you that all of my kids, 12 being the oldest, are very jealous of the little miss and her new awesome speaker!

We’ve got speakers galore in this house, a very “smart” home, and still, this is probably my favorite thing we have in regards to the kids. It’s perfect for kids and it’s such a unique product, I’ve never seen anything else like it. We love it, highly recommend it, and are so excited to hear more about the older kids version soon too!

  64. Both my girls love music & would put this to great use. My husband is a musician so we listen to a lot of music in our house. My husband made a playlist for our daughters, but they’d love to have their own player rather than Daddy playing DJ all the time (and it would let us listen to our own music rather than Baby Shark or JoJo for the millionth time!).
