The Kingston 8GB DataTraveler 109 is a pretty impressive! Although I have not had a chance to “play” with the Kingston DataTraveler that was sent to me, I am excited about all of the options it has.
It has a urDrive which is preloaded software exclusively on select Kingston® DataTraveler® USB Flash drives. After you launch the software, the urDrive interface pops up like a desktop for your USB. It has some really fun looking games as well (Fooz Kids) – so the kids can also enjoy this. There are so many features – it is hard to explain them all. I highly recommend looking on the Kingston website for more information.
Kingston’s DataTraveler® 109 is a fashionable USB Flash drive available in seven colors that make it fun to connect and share photos, music, videos and more with friends and family. Its small, capless design easily attaches to a lanyard or keyring. It’s a great accessory for slim notebooks and tablets. DataTraveler 109 comes preloaded with urDrive1 software that gives you a new and exciting way to look at your data.
Most USB Flash drives offer passive storage, which simply allows users to store and retrieve their data. urDrive offers engaged, active storage that allows you to easily access and organize your files, photos, videos and music. Other features include a built-in Photo Viewer, Web browser, games and music player.
I am excited to play around with the one I received, and I think it will be a bit hit for my whole family. Who knows, I might even enjoy the games too! I think this is a fabulous holiday gift idea!
*I received the above product for this informational post.

I love that flash drive because it can fit on my keychain, but I took the software off of it. Mine wasn’t working well, but that’s ok. I still love the drive itself.
I need one since I’m starting school and will need to transfer data from the school computer to my home and work ones. Thanks for the good review and the idea of which one to get.
