Pyrex Holiday Prize Pack Giveaway

When you think of the holidays words like shopping, food, leftovers, gifts, family and friends are probably some of the things that come to mind. This holiday season Pyrex wants to know …have you been naughty or nice?

I received an awesome holiday kit from Pyrex for review, that included the following items:
Pyrex No-Leak Lids glass storage containers
Pyrex Easy Grab oval baking dish
Holiday apron
$25 gift card to purchase holiday cooking/baking essentials
A copy of Ellie Krieger’s cookbook filled with comfort food favorites

First, I loved the cute red apron from Pyrex. One side has a “naughty” snowman and the other has the “nice” snowman so I can choose which version of the apron I want to wear depending upon the occasion. For example, if we’re hosting a Dirty Santa event, you better believe I’ll be wearing the “naughty” side but if it’s to enjoy Christmas with family, I’ll be “nice”.

Ellie Krieger’s cookbook “Comfort Food Fix” is awesome too. It contains recipes that use natural ingredients to put a healthy twist on your favorite comfort dishes. From macaroni & cheese, mashed potatoes, creamed corn, homemade breads, meatloafs and more, Krieger shows you how to enjoy the flavors you love without all the calories and unhealthy fat that usually comes with eating comfort foods. This cookbook contains over 150 recipe fixes that will be a perfect way to impress your guest with healthy dishes that don’t sacrifice great flavors at holiday gatherings. I will also be receiving a $25 gift card to use toward purchasing baking/cooking supplies as well.

Of course, anytime you cook there are usually leftovers to figure out put away. Thanks to Pyrex, you can save those delicious foods for later usage in quick, easy steps. The Pyrex No-Leak Storage containers are already being put to use in our house. Tonight, we made homemade Mexican queso dip and cooked it in one of the Pyrex dishes. Then when supper was over, we simply snapped on the no-leak lid and popped it in the fridge to finish enjoying later. I love how the tops contain a vent for microwaving and the dishes themselves are even safe for baking in the oven. The Pyrex Easy Grab with Lid is perfect to carry places as it has two convenient handles on the sides. This size is great for making appetizers, dips and even storing leftovers.
