Not sure if you read my blog but we got a new cat a few weeks ago. I wrote about him in Introducing Toby. He is a really good cat. Just like Little Man is a really good kid. Of course both statements need to be followed up by “when they want to be”.
Little Man has this thing about not waking up mommy in the mornings. I have actually been lying in bed before and watched him tip toe over to my
bedroom door and quietly shut it. Sure it is cute and all but totally not cool. He has finally learned to not shut the bedroom door on me. This way I can hear everything and wake up.
The other morning he wakes up and I am lounging in bed slowly getting the courage to get up and start the day. I can hear Little Man chasing Toby around the house. Toby is running to save his life. I mute the TV so I can listen and then I flew out of bed at warp speed.
Little Man is running after the cat while yelling “Come here Toby. You a dirty kitty. You need a bath.” All I can picture is my son successfully catching the cat and dunking him in the toilet. Part of me wanted to actually let this happen while hiding in the shower with the camera to tape it. That would be some pretty funny footage. Instead I went with being a responsible adult and went and saved the cat.
So now I wonder. Do I have too active of an imagination or have kids actually been known to try to bathe pets in the toilet?

as a 3 yr old i put our cat in the dryer, cause she was all wet from falling in the bath when i was in it…so yeah, the toliet is not too far off either
at least it gave you a good laugh for the day!
Oh no! Silly 3-year olds :*(
Oh, you bad mommy-blogger, you! Where are the photos????
That is too funny… I love this story, I think you need a waterproof camera so you could do both – be a responsible adult AND get the images for the blog.
