Kohl’s Newest Makeup Products Review

Are you someone who frequents the department store makeup counters, looking for the newest products?  I love getting my hands on new beauty products so I was thrilled when I received a box of Beauty Banks latest offerings available exclusively at Kohl’s!  I am a very simple girl, so I like products that make me look good in the simplest of ways!  I also want a product to do what they promise it to do.

The first product that caught my eye was the pink box labeled Mysterio, a new fragrance by Daisy Fuentes.   My first thought was a powdery, fresh scent with a hint of floral.    Mysterio is described as an oriental musk fragrance.   Personally, I smell the top notes of Plumeria and sweetness over the musk.  It also is described as having Freesia and Osmanthus which adds a more of a fruity floral scent.  I have been wearing Mysterio every day since I received it and after a few hours I still can smell the fresh scent.  I honestly love Mysterio and I think if you like scents as described, you will love it too.   Mysterio is now available at Kohl’s and the 1.7 oz. bottle retails for $39.50.

My favorite product out of the three is the Flirt! All That Lash Volumizing Mascara.  Why is it my favorite?  I am very particular when it comes to mascara.  It needs to last, not be oily and it needs to plump up my lashes.  Flirt! All That Lash meets all three!  I achieved the best results with 2 coats and if I was going out in the evening I would add another layer to bring a more dramatic look.   I also like my mascara to look as good later in the day as when I put it on.  This mascara exceeded my expectations and I would most definitely purchase it.  Flirt! All That Lash is available at Kohl’s for $14.00.

The last product I reviewed was the Vitamin C Power Brightening Eye Cream with Vitamins E and B5 by Grassroots Research Labs.   This is a rich, hydrating eye cream that targets dark circles and dullness to give delicate under-eye skin radiance.  I have used the eye cream for just over 5 days and I notice that my skin is much more moisturized.  I should receive results of a firmer appearance, dark circles diminishing and more hydrated skin in a few weeks.   Application in very simple, a small amount dabbed around the eye area morning and night.  I am looking forward to seeing a more youthful eye area in several weeks.  The Vitamin C Power Brightener Eye Cream is available this month at Kohl’s for $27.50.
