My kids went back to school this week, so this means that our schedule just got a little tighter. After school my kids have multiple activities like boy scouts, girl scouts, karate, football, gymnastics and therapy. It makes our lives a little hectic, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Thanks to Kraft, things like dinner and snacks are easy for me to get done quickly.

Both of my kids have to take a snack to school, something they can eat in about 10minutes since that’s all the time they get. This year I’m packing CAPRI SUN Super V Fruit and Vegetable Juice Drink and a healthy snack to go with it. The kids like it and I like that they are getting a little extra veggie in their day. It contains 3/4 fruit juice and 1/4 vegetable juice. My kids have been drinking it and I haven’t heard a single complaint from them.

My kids each have at least two field trips each school year and they ALWAYS ask for a Lunchable to take as their packed lunch. Some Lunchables now have a smoothie in them! How much better can a lunch get? My kids are going to flip when they get a Chiquita Strawberry Banana Smoothie and  and a Double Stuff OREO to go with a sub. Lunchables aren’t the same as when I was younger, they have more than just crackers, meat and cheese…they now have deep dish pizza, chicken strips and subs!

Jell-O Pudding has also changed since I was little. Now they have mix ins with flavors like Strawberry Shortcake, OREO Dirt Cup (I plan to get this for myself!), Birthday Cake, German Chocolate Cake, Turtle Sundae and Banana Caramel Pie. Jello-O makes a great snack because they are made with real milk!

Many days I have to take all 4 kids to one of the kids’ activities, and there is nothing for the other three to do. My solution? SNACKS! I have been taking Chips Ahoy! cookies with me to give them something to munch on.  I was sent a pack of Chips Ahoy! Chewy Gooey Caramel (Jeff ate those) and Chips Ahoy! made with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, I tried them and they were super soft so I let the kids have them since I like my cookies crunchy.

My husband was thrilled when he saw 2 boxes of Velveeta Cheesy Skillets in my box. I had one box of Creamy Beef Stroganoff and one box of Lasagna. With just having to use 1lb of ground beef and being able to use just 1 pan for the entire meal, it’s a great easy and reasonably fast dinner idea! I bought a pack of ground beef that had 2lbs in it, so we had Velveeta Cheesy Skillets 2 nights in a row and not a single person in this house complained and we didn’t have any leftovers.

  7. What I like to pack and what gets packed is two different things as I would prefer some vegetables. They usually get a lunchmeat sandwich or PB&J with some chips, yogurt, fruit and a drink of some sort.

  8. My son is a picky eater — so it’s either a tuna or turkey sandwich, some trail mix, and a few apple slices.

  19. PB&J. Though i saw a story the other day that the term peanut butter and jelly is racist. Little did i know that I was turning my kids into bigots by giving them a sandwich. These politically correct people are hilarious.
