What are your plans for Spring Break?  Do you have any special memories of Spring Break or Spring Break road trips?  I have something very special to share.  Last year, my daughter and I took our first Spring Break road trip together, and we have decided to do it every single year.  We just decided on a whim to drive to Santa Cruz last Spring and we stayed for three nights in a beautiful hotel, with a room overlooking the beach.  We went to the boardwalk and went on a few rides (she went on more than me), and we dined on yummy boardwalk food (cotton candy, churros, corn dogs anyone?).  Then we splurged a little and had fresh seafood dinners on the wharf.  My daughter is 13-years old and I was surprised she wanted to hang around with her old mom.  We made a pact that we would do this every year.

Spring is here and guess what? We are heading down to Santa Cruz again.  I am SO excited, as I definitely need a break, and spending time with my daughter is priceless.  These are memories that will last forever.

To celebrate Spring Road Trips, Carolina Pad sent me this wonderful assortment of products from the first collection in their new Studio-C brand.  I think I might have mentioned a time or two before how in love I am with Carolina Pad products. They have fashionable school products and it is always so fun to see what is new and exciting.  When I opened the package and set them on the counter, my son (20 years old) asked if he could have one of the folders.  Huh?  These are mine!  I was quite surprised that he wanted one but said they were pretty “cool”.  A little while later my daughter wandered in and said “Oooh, can I have one – I need it for school”.  Hmph.  Of course I shared with her too.

I love how Carolina Pad products appeal to kids, teens, and adults alike.  They are always a huge hit in my house (maybe too much so!).  They are funky, hip, colorful, stylish and they just scream “happy”.  Make sure you keep your eye out for the other new Spring collections that Carolina Pad will have soon – they are gorgeous!

  1. My spring break will be the same as all the rest of the time but I won't have to drive the neighbor's kids to school. (I don't have kids in school.)

  7. Sadly, we are not having spring break this year as the school had to close too many days this winter due to poor road conditions. But it was nice having the kids home and playing in the snow!

Thank you so much for the chance to win!

  11. I don't have much special planned this spring break. For Easter I am going to my friend's house to give baskets to her girls. My daughter passed away right before Easter last year so it's kind of a rough time for me.

  16. Well, we don't really have a spring break since I stay home with a toddler 🙂 But, I do remember when my husband and I were dating we went with his family to see his Grandma in Charleston. It was my first taste of the city and that eventually led us to live there after we got married

  17. Spring break just passed us by here, and we did not much of anything. Next year, I'd like to spend it in Belize, beachside, gazing up at the jungle and the ruins, with a drink in my hand and adequately sunblocked.

  18. When I was younger, I went to Mexico once for Spring Break and had a blast! tylerpants(at)gmail.com

  19. You would think since I work for a school district I'd get to have some fab-o spring break…but I have to work. I loooong for the days of a cool spring break!

  20. My favorite spring break was going to Ft. Lauderdale with a bunch of college friends. We ended up stranded there with no way home and had to scrounge around to make it! Tough (well….sort of LOL) at the time, but it's made for great stories ever since. Thanks so much! pamelashockley(AT)netscape(DOT)net
