Lifetime Network’s touching story about hair loss (and a solution!)

Hair loss is no joking matter. Well, male friends sometimes tease each other about “balding”, but honestly there is nothing humorous about it. When females have hair that is thinning, it can really take a toll on their self-esteem. I know I was quite worried a few years ago when I started noticing my hair thinning. Thank goodness it seemed to be only a brief period of time, but the sight of my hair on the shower floor was really scary.

Hair loss can be caused by many things, including medications, stress, aging and genetics. That would explain a lot as far as my hair thinning. I was going through a very stressful time in my life when I noticed my hair thinning. If my own hair didn’t start “behaving”, I would have sought a way to restore it.

Recently Lifetime Network aired “The Balancing Act” which featured a woman who shared her heartbreaking hair loss story and she talked about how Theradome helped her to overcome her struggles with hair loss.  She first noticed her hair loss after she became sick and had to take quite a few medications.

How Theradome works:

Theradome has adapted low level laser light therapy (LLLT) technology to fit our original helmet design in order to most effectively treat hair loss. We use 80 specially developed high efficiency lasers that allow us to deliver the maximum amount of light at an optimized wavelength. As opposed to ineffective LED lasers, our technology increases blood flow to the scalp and hair follicles, which stimulates circulation, promotes thickness and density, and encourages hair growth. Users should wear the helmet twice a week, 20 minutes per session, for best results. Theradome is intuitively designed with a simple, one-button operation. Audio commands notify the user how many minutes are left in the session, how many total treatments have been completed since purchase and when the battery is low.

According to inventor and founder, Tamim Hamid, “by using the Theradome laser helmet for 20 minutes two times a week, users will discover minimized shedding, increased hair density, and regrowth of new hair”. He also states that there are no side effects. It has been FDA cleared for women (and will soon be for men).

From Theradome: “Before considering any hair growth treatment, properly diagnosing the cause of your hair loss with a physician is essential. If you have any underlying medical conditions such as thyroid disease, anemia, are taking any medications, or if you have any possible scalp conditions such as psoriasis, please visit your doctor to address these medical concerns. Any underlying medical conditions can be the cause for seeing slower than average results with your Theradome™ LH80 PRO.”. See more on the Theradome website.
