Lingerie.com Summer Romance GiveawaySummer is in full swing and things are heating up!  Lingerie.com is here to help!  Have you ever had a summer romance that still lingers in your mind?  I might have one or two, but we won’t go into that here.  I do, however, remember a summer fling I had with my husband about five years ago, when we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary in Mendocino, California.  Yeah, yeah – I know we are married but I still like to call it a fling, mmkay?

The weather was beautiful – not too hot and not too cold. As Mendocino is on the coast, there was a nice cool breeze blowing across the balcony. We enjoyed wine out on the balcony while we talked, laughed and admired the gorgeous scenery.  Since it was the actual day of our 10 years together, we planned on a little…well ya know {wink}.  We decided to head inside and cozy up.  We made a huge fire in the fireplace in our room, turned on the heater and started…well ya know {wink again}.  All of a sudden we were practically melting – the room was so hot.  As we sat there sweating like crazy, we couldn’t help but laugh at how over zealous we were with the heating situation.  We headed back out to the balcony for some cool air {wearing the complimentary bathrobes of course}.  To this day, we chuckle whenever we remember that scenario.

We were fortunate to be able to take this memorable trip, but when you can’t take an exotic vacation or afford a getaway, sometimes the best way to add a little heat to your summer is something sassy for the boudoir.
