Macy’s Great American Elf Adventure

Although it is only August, the year seems to be flying by quickly. Before we know it, Thanksgiving will be here. And you know what that means, right? The annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! This year Macy’s is getting ready for this tradition by launching the Great American Elf Adventure!

Better yet, how would you like to ATTEND the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade this year? Well, you are in luck – when you enter the giveaway here on Eighty MPH Mom, you have a chance to win an elf that you can create and submit to the Macy’s Elf Adventure Facebook Application. You will then have the chance to win a trip to to NYC with three guests to attend the magical Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade !

Not everyone has an elf. You see, there was a scavenger hunt on Facebook where people had to “hunt” to find an elf to decorate and submit. You have the chance to win an elf without having to participate in the scavenger hunt! The official elves have a serial number on the packaging, which you will need to include when you submit your creation on the Macy’s Facebook “Elf” application.

What does the elf look like? Here is a picture of a blank elf , so you can start visualizing your creation if you win the real elf:

Once the masterpiece is complete, the artist should submit a detailed front and back photo of their creation. To enter the design, participants will need to “Like” Macy’s on Facebook and then proceed to download the “Elf” application. Entries must include the identification serial number found on the packaging containing the elf (all real Macy’s elves will have one) and upload their photo/complete application by Wednesday, August 24 at 11:59:59 PM ET.

You can find additional details about the contest , and make sure you like  Macy’s on Facebook!

Please note: If you win the giveaway here at Eighty MPH Mom, your elf submissions is due by August 24th on Macy’s Facebook page.  This is the reason for the short timeframe of this giveaway.   Please also note that the winner of the elf and gift card on Eighty MPH Mom has to reply within 24 hours of winning notification, or I will need to pick a new winner. The voting phase on the Macy’s Facebook Page will begin on August 30th.

UPDATE:  I have had to change the end date of this giveaway, so that winner will have enough time to receive and create their elf.

THE GIVEAWAY is now closed!

No purchase necessary. Open to residents of US.  ONE ENTRANT PER HOUSEHOLD/IP Address! Giveaway ends August 18th at 12:00 p.m.  (PST).  I check all entries – cheating will not be tolerated.  Winner will be notified via email and needs to reply within 24 hours, or a new winner will be chosen. Please make sure you check your spam folder – I will not be responsible if you did not receive winning email notification. Winners name(s) will also be posted on Winners List immediately after drawing has occurred. Winners will be chosen using the “And the Winner is” plugin.  Screenshots of winners available by request.  **By entering this giveaway, you confirm that you have read and agree to my giveaway rules.
