Greatest Animated Franchise Ever!
Minions is the biggest animated franchise in history back with the untold story of a 12-year old Gru. Little Gru dreams of becoming the world’s greatest supervillain.
This movie should be hilarious because it takes place in the 1970’s! Can you imagine seeing what those little minions look like in the 70s? Maybe Otto will be wearing bell bottom jeans and platform shoes.

Oscar® nominee Steve Carell returns as Gru and we wouldn’t have it any other way. My family loves him in everything from Evan Almighty, to The Office, and now the Minions franchise!
Gru is fanboy of a supervillain supergroup known as the Vicious 6 then the pre-teen Gru decides that he needs to become evil enough to join them.
All of the Minions we know also return (Kevin, Stuart, Bob, and Otto), but we also meet a new Minion sporting braces. So cute! Anyhoo, they come together and we see them build their first evil lair, experiment with weapons, and even succeed in their first mission.

There’s an opening position in the Vicious 6 after they kick out their leader, Wild Knuckles played by Oscar® winner Alan Arkin. What happens next will be absolutely hilarious. Gru embarks on a wild journey and ultimately learns that even bad guys need a little help from their friends.
Did I mention that Taraji P. Henson is voicing one of the new characters? She plays, get this, “Belle Bottom” one of the members of the Vicious 6!
Minions: The Rise of Gru also has a bunch of new and exciting cast members including, Jean-Claude Van Damme as Jean Clawed, Lucy Lawless as Nunchuck, Dolph Lundgren as Svengeance and Danny Trejo as Stronghold.
The hilarious Russell Brand plays Dr. Nefario, an aspiring mad scientist, Michelle Yeoh is Master Chow, an acupuncturist with mad Kung Fu skills, and Oscar® winner Julie Andrews plays Gru’s maddeningly self-absorbed mom.
This movie will be the Family Movie of the summer 2022!
