I’m not much of a gamer, but I do have some mad appreciation for the old school stuff. Back in the day I rocked Paperboy, Mario Brothers and that dizzy Sonic.

I had the chance to experience Nerd Block. Talk about taking me back…and sharing that love with my daughter. What exactly is Nerd Block? Well, it’s a monthly mystery package that is delivered right to your door. It’s filled with everything nerdy – apparel, toys, and collectables between 4-6 items as well as a t-shirt! It’s $13.99-$19.99 a month depending on your Nerd Block preferences and shipping is free!

First we received Nerd Block Jr. Girl. Geared for girls age 6-11 and priced at $13.99, this was such a fun package for Paige to open – I think it’s the mystery of not knowing what exactly is included. Turns out my little girlie is much more of a nerd than I am! With items from Hello Kitty, My Little Pony, Barbie, Monster High and more, there is a great selection.  I’d dare to pick a favorite but she has had fun with everything included.  I’m pretty keen on the Tetris notebook.  The pages each have a fun Tetris shape!

Don’t worry mom of boys – there is Nerd Block Jr. Boy for your little nerd! Same price point, too!

I then received Nerd Block Arcade – pretty cool! Included was a Zelda figure, Halo lanyard, Super Smash Bros. t-shirt, Aperture scarf, Sonic magnets and a Touch Control joystick for your smartphone.  It’s such a fun box!
