Brrrrr. Baby, it’s cold outside! I’m not complaining, after all, it is December and it could be 60 one day and 19 the next. My girl is staying nice and toasty with the Cozy Cub Thinsulate Parka from One Step Ahead.
I feel like this coat is everything one could ever want – especially as a parent! Not only is the material of top notch quality with a rugged, waterproof nylon shell and high-tech Thinsulate core for warmth it’s built to last with a YKK zipper. The extras make it special, thoughtful little extras that tell me kids really were thought of in the design of this coat.
The Cozy Cub Thinsulate Parka includes fleece-lined pockets and cuffs, a face framing hood, mitten clips, photo ID pocket and tissue pocket. So smart!
Perhaps my favorite feature is the Grow with Me sleeves. (You don’t know how much I cheered over this feature!) Grow with Me sleeves allow for longer wear by simply releasing a single stitch the sleeves will lengthen by 1 ½”. Pretty cool, eh? I like the longer length of the coat as well. The Cozy Cub Thinsulate Parka falls below her hips, so I know that even when she’s out at recess, climbing on the monkey bars her midsection isn’t exposed to the elements. Paige simply loves the color! It’s bright, vibrant and I certainly can’t miss her in a crowd.
