I have had really fine hair, ever since I was a little girl. My mom had a heck of a time getting it to do anything, and even more trouble trying to make it stay down. She sure would have been thrilled with Ouidad Climate Control Frizz and Flyaway Fighter! I was sent this product to review, and I am sold. I have been on the hunt for a product that will keep my hair from doing a dance of it’s own.
The worst time of the year for me (hair wise) is Winter and Fall. My hair has a mind of it’s own and the static in the air doesn’t help one bit. The past week or so has been incredibly bad, and the static electricity has even caused me to zap my poor kitty a couple of times. My hair is just wild and it drives me nuts.
I have been applying the Ouidad Frizz & Flyaway Fighter product to my towel dried hair each morning before styling and I haven’t had a bit of trouble since I started using it (thank goodness!).
Climate Control Frizz & Flyaway Fighter gives just the right finish to all hair. Lightweight and non-greasy, humidity-resistant actives coat the hair eliminating frizz and unruly flyaways instantly. When our daughter was born she had tiny dark brown ringlets of hair all over her head. When her hair was shorter, it was just filled with curls. She is currently in a stage where she wants long hair so the curls are not as defined but the ends are still beautiful and very wavy with some defined curls. However, finding a good shampoo/conditioner for her type hair can be a challenge since her entire head is not all curly. I was really excited to discover Oudiad KRLY Kids line of products. We were sent the No Time for Tears Gentle Shampoo, No More Knots Conditioner and the Pump and Go Styling Spray.
Ouidad KRlY Kids No Time for Tears Shampoo is a gentle shampoo that you can use everyday thanks its mild formula. It is designed not to bother their eyes should it accidentally drip down and it smells great too. I have to say that wonderful scent did not really stick in her hair after it dried but at least it smelled good while she was lathering and washing her hair. I also liked the thickness of this particular shampoo. We have always used Suave 2-in-1 for her and the Oiudad Shampoo was much thicker than the Suave brand. It did not take as much shampoo to create a good lather either.
Since our daughter has longer hair, we always use a product that contains a conditioner because her hair tends to knot up rather easily after washing. The Ouidad KRLY Kids No More Knots 2-in-1 Leave in Conditioner works marvelously as a detangling rinse. We did not have to leave it on for very long and her hair was super easy to comb through after bathing. It did not leave her hair feeling greasy either. I did notice that you can also use this product as a moisturizing treatment to help prevent split ends but we did not use it as a leave-in product. We always rinsed it out before she got out of the bathtub. Even our daughter commented on how easy it was for her to brush her own hair after bathtime when she used this product.
My personal favorite was the Ouidad KRLY Kids Pump-n-Go Styling Spray. When she combed her hair and we were ready to style it for the day we simply sprayed this throughout her hair and then used our fingers to “scrunch” her curls into place. When her hair dried, those waves/curls were stuck into place yet her hair was still soft and manageable. There was no sticky residue or feeling on her hair from the Styling Spray. Her hair was still lightweight, the curls stayed in all day and we had spent less than 5 minutes styling her hair after her bathtime. As a Mom to 3 kids, I was totally impressed with this product and we will certainly keep it in stock from now on. I did note that the bottle says this spray also protects against curl-busting humidity and living in the deep South we need all the extra help in that department that we can get!
