Well I’m back home now. It was good to see my friend and her children – I love them all dearly. It is always good to get home though. Of course there are always a million things to do upon returning, but luckily my hubby kept the house in great shape and my son took care of a few things for me too. Thanks guys!

Here are a few pics – the first few aren’t very interesting, but my daughter and I had fun taking them…we were a little bored on the drive down:

We were so happy when we finally arrived there – driving four hours is quite boring. Well I would have been there sooner but traffic was bad and people were naturally being stupid.

Here are a few pics we took while visiting – This is my friend’s son and daughter:

I would have posted a pic of my friend, but she wouldn’t let me take her picture (you know how us middle aged ladies are!).

However this dead June Bug didn’t seem to mind me taking his photo at all:

He looks small here, but he was huge. I am so glad we don’t have June Bugs here – my friend is scared to death of them, and I found that I am now too. Blech!

We did go shopping and out to eat, and it was fun to do some catching up – I sure miss my friend. She is the one I laugh with and vent to and to be so far apart from her just breaks my heart.

Love you Julie and kids – thanks for the memories!

P.S. True to my name – I am the Eighty MPH Mom…I drove actually a little faster than that on the way home, since there wasn’t too much traffic (but shhhhh – don’t tell the cops).
