It’s Play Time with Pacific Play Tents!

Disclosure review
As a child, nothing was more exciting to me than building a tent and playing inside.  Whether it was throwing some blankets around furniture for a makeshift tent, or putting up my brother’s sweet camouflage tent in the backyard, they certainly provided hours of fun.

Pacific Play Tents makes all kinds of tents, tunnels, parachutes, chairs, and other toys to keep children entertained and let their imaginations run free.  Pacific Play Tents products include bed tents, teepees, cabana tents, fun themed tents like a space station tent or firehouse tent, and tunnels that can be used by themselves or connected to a tent for more fun.

We received the “My Pirate Ship” Playhouse tent.  I know I have mentioned before that my oldest daughter is obsessed with pirates, and she was so excited to have her own pirate ship to play in.  The tent itself is very colorful and fun.  It was really easy to put up – the poles were color-coded and quickly slid together for the frame, and the cover fit over the frame and was easy to put in place and secure to the poles.  The hardest part about putting it together was getting the girls to leave me alone for the few minutes that it took!

The “My Pirate Ship” Playhouse tent is big enough so there is plenty of room for moving around and playing (my whole family could fit comfortably inside), but not too big that it took up a lot of space in our house.  It was nice to contain my girls to one area, rather than having them run all over the house, and we could easily move the tent from our living room to my daughter’s bedroom at night.  I also liked that it had two “doors” for entering and exiting the tent (a bigger rectangle one on one end and a smaller round one on the other end), both of which could be velcroed shut or rolled up and secured in place.  The tent also had four mesh “windows” (two on the sides and two at the top) that helped let in plenty of air and also allowed me to see what was going on inside the tent without having to crawl in myself.  And if we decide to put the tent away for a while, it comes with two storage bags for the poles and the cover.

One thing I love about the “My Pirate Ship” Playhouse tent is that it allows my girls’ imaginations to run wild while they think of all of the fun things that we can do with it.  I have been tied up  in the pirate ship as a prisoner of the evil pirate captain.  One time, I escaped only to be confronted by the pirate captain and have a sword fight.  Another time, I was rescued from my prison by a nice pirate heroine.  We have spent a lot of time sailing the seas, searching for lost treasure.  We have also transported animals in our ship.  And sometimes pirates just need a quiet place to lay down, eat a snack, and watch a movie.  I think we are all happy to have “My Pirate Ship” Playhouse.

  1. One of the “My Little Tents” — they’re the right size for my littles and don’t take up too much floor space!

  2. I would probably choose the Under The Sea Beach Cabana. I would be perfect for a beach vacation.

  3. I would probably get the Tickle Me 6 Foot X 19 Inch Tunnel – Black but am not sure because they have so many cute things.

  4. I like the Peek-A-Boo I See You 6 Foot Connecting Tunnel and the Playchute Parachute – 10 Foot- Rainbow
