Despite what stubborn Mr. Groundhog has to say, spring (and cleaning time) is just around the corner. Despite how much I may, well, not like the process of cleaning, we all enjoy having a clean home. Between rambunctious little ones, inevitable pet hair, and a car connoisseur complete with the mess that coincides, keeping things in tip top shape is definitely a chore and then some. Personally, I am a bit obsessive about certain things and, thankfully, cleanliness is one of them. Everything in our home has its place and I try to keep on top of messes as best as I can. Sure, there are days that we skip it all, pretend it doesn’t exist, and just enjoy one another but, sooner or later, we are right back at it. My in-laws on the other hand, their house is darn near impeccable. In all honesty, you could very well eat off of the kitchen floor if you wanted to.
However, after four children and enough grandchildren to count on both hands, the carpeting is another story. Though it is vacuumed daily and is seemingly as clean as they day it was installed, we all know that carpets can be a rough thing to truly get clean. Here, the problem isn’t the usual visible messy areas but, instead, it is the mess that we cannot see. The grime that settles deep into the base of the carpeting is something that many people unknowingly struggle with. Now, while many vacuums can get the job done when it comes to the mess atop a carpet, it is those that dig deeper that are the true masters of their work. For my in-laws, their daily cleaning routine coupled with a newly repaired old vacuum did the job… as far as the eye could see. Knowing that they’ve had many issues with their vacuum continuously needing fixing, when I was given the opportunity to try out a newer model, I decided to pass it onto them.
Not too long ago, Panasonic, shared with us one of their newest vacuum models – the JetForce MC-UL429. Having only recently began shopping around for our own vacuum; I actually didn’t know that Panasonic offered a line of vacuums. Call me old school, but to me, Panasonic brings back memories of their Shockwave and portable CD player days. So, vacuums, eh? There’s my “learn something new” for the day. After only knowing their electronic line, I was a bit leery to try it but, thankfully, I was quickly proven wrong. This JetForce really is a force of nature.
We brought it over to my in-laws on a regular weekday. As usual, their house was immaculate. After mentioning that they had juts vacuumed earlier that morning, we weren’t sure that we’d get much of anything up to test out the new Panasonic. Boy, were we wrong! After giving the house a once over with the Panasonic JetForce, on both carpet and tile flooring, we ended up with a full vacuum worth dirt, dust, and grime.
In addition to being a wickedly awesome vacuum in itself, it has bonus tools! Okay, okay, yes, it might be true that most vacuums come with a variety of additional tool options but this one just kept the surprises coming. Of course it had the coveted extended reach arm perfect for places like the stairs and under the couch but it also had a few attachments that I wasn’t expecting to see. With the added PetGlide, telescoping crevice tool, and fan/blind brush, you can (quite literally) clean every inch of your house with the Panasonic JetForce.
Between all of that, it’s lightweight design, and its incredible JetForce technology with nine times cyclonic filtration, this vacuum is a great choice for quick and easy cleaning.
Surprisingly, thanks to our friends at Wal-Mart, the Panasonic JetForce vacuum is actually a rather affordable option, too!
BUY:
You can purchase the Panasonic JetForce MC-UL429 directly from the Panasonic website for an ARV of $149.99. It is also sold, both, online and in-stores exclusively at Wal-Mart.

My in-laws are beyond thrilled with their own new Panasonic JetForce and, surely, you will be too. Whether you’re vacuuming up the basic everyday carpet mess, running across tile and hardwood floors, picking up stubborn pet hair from the couch, or even reaching ceiling fan blades that’d, otherwise, be too high, the Panasonic JetForce MC-UL429 is for you.

could use this
Wow. I could use one of those for sure. Our vacuum is old. We have just moved to a new house and we have berber carpet though out the house. So I need a good reliable vacuum again. Thanks for the review. I will look for this one at Walmart!
Oh my gosh, I go through vacuums like crazy, and the latest one we have (about a year old) is ready to go too. I think I vacuum too much, or just don’t get good vacuums. I’m reluctant to get the really expensive ones, but a small twinge tells me maybe I oughta’
This one sounds nice, and I like that it’s purple. 😉
Time to get a new vacuum, this is a good one!
We don;t have pets but I want a vacuum that is strong and picks up dirt from tile floor and from carpeting. My current vacuum does not seem so powerful anymore.
For some reason me and vacuums never get along. I buy them they break. I buy them they break. See the pattern there well I’m tired of buying cheap vacuums for $60-$80 and bring them home use them once or twice just to throw them in the heap pile. Right now I do not own a vacuum and I refuse to buy one until I can afford a more expensive model that is going to work and stay working for at least 2 or 3 years would be nice. When I think of Panasonic I think of electronics like stereo systems. Never would of guess they sold vacuums. This sound like a real nice system but I’m a little leery about that retractable cord bit. You see I have bought 3 vacuums all with retractable cord systems and with in 3 pulls they no longer work and the cord is always on the floor in a tangled mess. If it had an original old fashioned wind it up cord I’d be more apt to want to buy it. That is the only feature that I don’t like. I will keep this one in mind for my next vacuum.
We have had such bad luck with vacuums. I think it’s time to buy a quality vacuum that can handle pet hair and my kids. Great review.
I love the brand “Panasonic” but was not aware that they had a vacuum out. I have yet to see it in the stores where I reside. Great review. I would love to have one of these and the purple awesome.
Huh…never knew that they jumped on the vacuum “bandwagon”…it is quite nice to see them come up with something new but like other commenter’s, I have not seen any of their vacuums out..only the normals Hoover, Dyson, etc I will have to look on Walmart online since clearly they have not introduced them to their store shelves yet.
I would love to own this vacuum
This looks awesome I have been using a shop vac and myss the stand up model vacuum. I would love one of these with 2 dogs and 5 cats.
