Have a Very, Merry Peppa Pig Holiday – Review

 

When you think of the holiday season, things like family, play, joy, and laughter come to mind. When you think of Peppa Pig, those very same things come to mind.

For those of you that may have been hiding out in your snow forts and aren’t familiar with Peppa Pig, it is an adorable children’s show that focuses on the young daughter of an exuberant piggy family. She, along with her younger brother, parents, and many friends are always up to some sort of adventure and in good ol’ Peppa (and peppy!) style, it always ends with massive smiles on the faces of characters and viewers alike.

Peppa is a lovable, exuberant little piggy who lives with her little brother George, Mommy Pig, and Daddy Pig. Peppa’s favorite things include playing games, dressing up, days out, and jumping in muddy puddles. Her adventures always end happily with loud snorts of laughter.

The holidays are no exception for Peppa Pig and her family. Even during the chilliest winter days, Peppa still finds ways to have fun. Whether her adventures lead her out into the snowy beyond or keep her indoors and cozy, the kids relate to Peppa and her drive to continuously seek and even create enjoyment. I often find my own little ones embarking on Peppa-like adventures and, as the holidays draw near, the excitement and demand for all things Peppa Pig has surely risen.

Just in time for all of the indoor wintertime play, we were lucky enough to have the opportunity to try out some of the best new Peppa goodies. Take a look!

 

Peppa Pig:Cold Winter Day DVD

To kick things off, of course we had to sit down and enjoy a great showing of Peppa Pig!

It’s the coldest day of the year, and that means one thing: fun! Grab your hat, scarf, mittens, and coat and join Peppa and her family and friends as they build a snowman, throw snowballs, race their sleds, and much more! Kids will love these hilarious winter adventures filled with lots of snorts and laughter, and of course, ice-skating on frozen muddy puddles!

My little ones have far too many stuffed animal pals that have accumulated over the years but their reasoning for hanging onto them all is too cute to dismiss. You see, they enjoy having each one of their pals available for snuggling while watching their little pal’s coinciding show or movie. Of course, that goes for all things Peppa Pig as well.

 

Since we have two little guys here at home, they enjoy Peppa’s younger brother George just as much as they associate with Peppa Pig herself. Now, adding to the kids’ cozy collection of plush pals, the boys often opt to kick back on the couch with none other than sweet, adorable George.

 

Peppa’s Merry-Go-Round Game

Now onto the playtime! After watching any episode of Peppa Pig, the kids switch into adventure mode. They want to play, they want to be silly, they want to run ‘round and ‘round all while laughing hysterically. Akin to the repetitive excitement of a merry-go-round, the kids’ own joy certainly goes hand in hand with this fabulous new Peppa toy!

When she’s not splashing in muddy puddles, Peppa Pig loves riding the Merry-Go-Round – why not join her for a spin? Push the red button at the top and watch the seats spin round and round. Land on a red spot and your Peppa Pig character has to get off the ride, but if you find another open spot, you can hop back on. Be the last player on the ride to win!

This game comes complete with the Merry-Go-Round and four Peppa Pig figurines.

What’s best of all is that there are no batteries required!

 

Peppa Pig’s Deluxe House Playset

Of course, after any long day of play, there always comes the time to head home. However, no one has ever demanded that the fun end there. No way! The fun and delight always continues on, especially at Peppa’s house!

You’re invited to hang out with Peppa and George in their House! The playhouse opens to reveal rooms filled with furniture. It includes over 15 play pieces and folds up closed for on-the-go adventures. Come over to Peppa’s house for a playdate that’s full of great surprises.
