I was sent for review, the Pocket Hose Top Brass, and I was eager to try it out. The Top Brass portion is new – it is supposed to be very strong and efficient. If you haven’t seen the commercials, here is a little information about it:
~Pocket Hose Top Brass incorporates DURA-RIB tubing to prevent bursting under extreme water pressure using the same inner section material as fire hoses. Its brass tip is designed to withstand aggressive use and erosion.
~Mighty Blaster Fireman’s Nozzle uses rugged aircraft aluminum that can easily be adjusted to spray a fine mist to powerful stream for lawn maintenance and handy work
~Pocket Hose Ultra Elbow Connector permits strain free flexibility from plug to hose

Photo on the right below shows how the hose looks after about 20 minutes of being turned off and with the water released.

I was also sent the Mighty Blaster (fireman’s) nozzle. Honestly, I am not crazy about it. It does shoot far, but for closer range watering, it doesn’t work as well as my previous nozzle. Supposedly you can turn it down for mist, but I found that when I turned it down as low as I could, it dribbled instead of misted. If you don’t need the mist setting, then this might be a great nozzle for you!

I bought your original pocket hose when it was first introduced and it wasn’t long before it began to leak in the seams. Recently I bought the pocket hose brass deciding to give your company another chance. Bought two 50 footers, connecting them for length. The first one got pin hole leaks in them so I had to toss that one. Then this morning I heard water running like the hose was being used. So I ran out to find that a hole had developed and was spewing water everywhere. I’ve read similar reviews and I want to know if you are going to tout this as being so great then make them stronger. I like the lightweight and compact design but I don’t have the money to spend $30 every couple weeks on hoses. I don’t have my receipt so I can’t take it back but in the future if I take it back will they refund me the money or give me a replacement hose? Please let me know for future purchases. I had both hoses less than a month when they went bad.
Hmmm I am not sure? I would contact the company directly and let them know what happened. I would hope they would replace it for you.
