Give a Little Put Me in the Story Love this Valentine’s Day

Disclosure review

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and it’s such a sweet time of year, no pun intended! We like to treat ourselves with a little delicious candy but also share some with the kiddies too. A celebration of love is always welcome, in my book! We’ll never pass up an opportunity to show our children just how much they mean to us which is why I jumped at the chance to review some books from the Valentine’s Day collection at Put Me in the Story!

Put Me in the Story allows you to personalize the most adorable stories for your little one. We’ve had the delight of reviewing Put Me in the Story books several times in the past and have never been disappointed! Each story is always so lovely and this time was no different. Using the preview option on the Put Me in the Story website, I spent at least an hour sifting through each story in the Valentine’s Day collection, trying to decide which ones were my favorite. Since it would be my brand new daughter’s very first personalized story and I save all of our Put Me in the Story books, this beautiful keepsakes mean a lot to me and I want them to be perfect. My youngest has a very unique name and we’ll never find it anywhere so this customization is pretty exciting to me! Finally after much consideration, I decided to get “I Love You So…” for my older daughter and “My Mom Loves Me” for my new baby girl.

Both of these stories were so sweet and tear-jerking, about how much you love your child. “My Mom Loves Me” can be modified for what your child calls you and I’ve always gone by “Mommy” and I even still call my own mom “Mommy” so that’s what I went with. “My Mommy Loves Me” is illustrated with cute animals and talks about all of the things that Mommy does with and for her little one. “I Love You So…” shows all of these examples for just how big your love is for that baby of yours! If you only get one personalized story book in your life, these are the ones to get. The ones that you can save forever, that will always mean something because they articulate just how important and how big your love is for them.

My older daughters can read now so another appealing aspect of these books is that they’re within the reading level for younger children. Over and over, if they’re anything like my kids. My girls are enjoying reading the baby’s book to her every night.

I bet you’re curious what else in the Valentine’s Day collection caught my attention! “Sesame Street: I Love You Just Like This” is an adorable one for those itty bitties who love Elmo and the gang. “YOU!” is a motivating book, reminding your children to dream big and reach for the stars! I also really liked “I Love You Because…” which is actually for your significant other and seemed way more fun to give than a simple Valentine’s card! There are so many more that I haven’t even touched on though, they really have a beautiful collection at Put Me in the Story and that’s one of the many reasons I love them so much!
