Today, Luv and I read. She is my little bookworm, after all. But today we read and participated in the Read for the Record Campaign with Jumpstart! Each year, to celebrate and early childhood education, Jumpstart rallies and puts on a record-breaking literacy celebration!

Read for the Record with Jumpstart! {and win Otis ARV $17.99}Since2006, the campaign has:
• Engaged 9 MILLION children
• Raised more than $8 MILLION for early educaGon programs
• Provided more than 1.2 MILLION books for children in low-income neighborhoods

This year, the Read for the Record Ambassador is Tiffani Thiessen {I adore her!}. As a mother, she is passionate about childhood reading and is such a great fit for Read for the Record!

The book for this year’s Read for the Record is fantastic. “Otis” by Loren Long is so sweet and I absolutely love the illustrations!

Luv’s Thoughts:

Otis is a little tractor. He works and plays after he is done working. He plays with the little calf. Otis doesn’t like the big yellow tractor because it had a loud sound and it scared the little calf. The little calf gets stuck in the mud pool. I like this book.
