ReadySetz Playsets
When I heard about ReadySetz playsets, I was intrigued. You know how kids have dollhouses made out of plastic that are a pain to store, and that easily crack if stepped on? ReadySetz are not like that. These playsets are made of a thick cardboard that can be folded up and stored when not in use. Neat, right?
When I received our playset – the Urban 2.0 playset – I was impressed for many reasons. First, I loved how sturdy it is. I kind of wondered how it would hold up, since it is made of thick cardboard {I was a little uncertain about this before I received mine}, but the playset is very strong and solid. In the photo below you can see how thick the board is:
Second, I was really surprised at how realistic the set is, rust and all! If you look really hard, you will see my kitty inside. He thought this was really fun too.
Doesn’t this look real? The details are truly amazing, and the mind can easily run wild. Oh the possibilities!
No assembly means no complicated directions, no tiny pieces, and – best of all – no headache! Kids and adults can take their set out of the box, open it, and start playing!

Kids will have a blast adding their own action figures, cars and whatever else they want, to make it their very own.
When my grown son {who has a bachelor’s degree in Cinema/Stop Motion Animation} came over and saw this, even he was excited. He was saying what a great background set this would be for one of the films he is working on for his portfolio. I thought this was really interesting – I guess there are several uses!
ASSEMBLY
Assembly is very, very simple. The ReadySetz Urban Playset just opens up and is just about ready to go. It is just a matter of unfolding, bending a couple of pieces and inserting them where indicated. What is nice about this is that it is quick and easy to put away and set back up again. See? Simple instructions!

Each set has two different sizes to choose from. The smaller size {$65}is 1:18 scale and is perfect for 3.75” action figures. The larger size {$95} is 1:12 scale works great with 6″ action figures, cars, etc.

Thanks for this article I love this so much! What a cool play set I will definitely check it out! I recently purchased the Little Tikes RV Camper pop up tent for the kids at target and it was really great and so easy to set up. You should check it out!
