You may or may not know that I am a San Francisco Bay Area native. I love all that the area has to offer, especially for families, and I love supporting local businesses. Apparently so do many other Bay Area folks! When Red Tricycle asked me to share the big news about the winners of their Totally Awesome Awards 2013, I was happy to oblige.*
If you aren’t familiar with Red Tricycle, you are really missing out. They offer plenty of fun things for families to do and see in several different U.S. Cities. They have a simple mission:

The Red Tricycle Totally Awesome Awards 2013 was a huge success and I am thrilled to share this news with you and announce the San Francisco winners!
The Totally Awesome Award supports local businesses that parents love (in fact, there were over 235K votes cast!). Votes were cast on best family-friendly products, parenting tips and resources in their community. I think it is really neat that these businesses were chosen by the parents who really know and love the businesses and services they voted for.

The Totally Awesome Awards included 64 national Baby & Kids Essentials categories and 31 Local categories in 12 U.S. cities. Parents from across the nation picked their favorite family-friendly businesses throughout a 12-week period. More than 236,777 votes were cast and the results for the Totally Awesome Awards.
