I have been a Safeway customer for many years (about 20 years or so!). I remember going to Safeway with my mom when I was a kid. When I moved from home, and had my own family, I continued to shop there and still do to this day! Safeway always has amazing deals, fresh produce, and great prices. so I wanted to share some Safeway Leftover Meal Ideas with you so you can take full advantage of these wonderful offerings at Safeway.
Over the holidays, Safeway had a really helpful section on their website. The Leftover Lounge which featured budget-friendly meal ideas for using leftovers, and so much more.
I had so much fun browsing around on the Safeway website, as I tend to run out of meal ideas, and I get so tired of making the same things over and over again. For the latest and greatest recipes, meal inspirations and tips and techniques, you can check out Safeway Recipes and Meals! Once you are there, you can use their handy search page with check boxes, to come up with the perfect recipe for Gourmet, Kid Friendly, 15-minute meals, or anything else you could possibly want. You will never run out of ideas!
One section on their website that I was especially impressed with was “FoodFlex”. FoodFlex offers consumers “solid resources that provide solutions to everyday dietary needs.” It is extremely helpful to know exactly what the ingredient labels mean on products, and they can help you make the right choices for keeping your family healthy. Neat!
I really could go on and on about the Safeway website and all it has to offer, but I am hoping you will check it out for yourself. Are you trying to save money in the new year? Safeway has come a long way from my childhood trips there, and one of the things I most enjoy and appreciate is their delivery service. I took full advantage of the Safeway grocery delivery service several times – when my daughter was born and I didn’t feel like taking my newborn to the store, and I also used this service when I had surgery. It was so easy to use, and definitely very convenient!
