Secure Your Life with Yale Real Living’s New Keyless Entry Systems

Have you ever accidentally locked yourself out of the house? I’ve done it numerous times as a child and a handful of times more recently. I have actually caught my brother climbing in through windows on a few occasions as well. Forgetting your keys happens to us all whether we want to admit it or not. Luckily, in this day and age, we have a fix for that. I recently had the opportunity to try out a pretty snazzy new product that solves this problem and more.

Yale Real Living, a big and well-respected name in the lock industry, gave me the chance to try out one of their Yale Real Living Keyless Entry Deadbolt systems. The YRD240 Key Free Touch Screen Deadbolt Stand Alone is, well, quite amazing to put it simply.

I love knowing that with the YRD240 we no longer have to keep a spare key hidden somewhere in the yard available for anyone to find. We’re also thrilled with the fact that we can finally keep the garage door locked as well. We put our Yale Real Living YRD240 on the back door and are quite happy with it. Although we still currently use the classic keyed locks throughout the rest of the house, having the Yale Real Living lock gives us peace of mind knowing that it is there when needed.

The Yale Real Living YRD240 features a key-free, easy to use system donned with a durable and weather resistant touchscreen. It installs quite easily with no use for additional holes in the door aside from the standard ones that you likely already have. After following the installation instructions and powering it four AA batteries, simply choose your own user pin code (4-8 digits) and you’re good to go. It even features interference alarms when the wrong code is used.

Our little ones are still quite small and do not leave the house without us, but I can certainly see the benefit in having a Yale Real Living Keyless Entry lock in a home with children. Kids (even teens) lose things. It’s a well-known fact. Having them lose a key to your family’s home isn’t exactly a good thing. At the same time, making sure to leave your home unlocked while unattended is not something that sits well with most folk either. Yale Real Living has given us the best of both worlds by bringing the Keyless Entry locks to life. Be sure that everyone in your home knows the code for the lock and no one will be left stranded outside again. Forgotten and misplaced keys will no longer leave you standing in the rain calling a locksmith. Teenagers can easily get into the house if they arrive home from school before Mom & Dad return from work. You can easily give the code to your extended family members if needed. The babysitter can have a way to, both, get into and lock up the house. The possibilities are endless and you’ll NEVER need to make a trip to the local hardware store for spare keys again!

  11. It would not only be wasting your money, but it
may also jeopardize your children safety along with your house by providing youu a sitter who iss
either noot competent or hazardous. Even if you know their parents or other children they have carerd for
take time to get to know them yourself to see if they will be a golod fiit for your children.
is circulated by such parents who are worried abouit their little ones care once they are ouut to work.
