SENTRY SAFE QUICK ACCESS PISTOL SAFE
We were both thrilled when the Sentry Safe Quick Access Pistol Safe arrived. This has quickly become my husband’s favorite safe (and we have had many over the years!). Operating the safe is so simple for us, but it is comforting to know that is is not simple for little hands. Even though our own children are now grown and out of the house, we do have friends with young children. This is why it is so important to us that we have this easy to operate safe – easy for us that is.
It is the perfect size to keep in a nightstand drawer, or even on top of the nightstand. It comes with two large bolts, in case you want to bolt it down for added security.
A firearms safe that provides readily available access when needed in an emergency, but its pry resistant solid steel construction helps prevent unauthorized access.
Setting up the safe was really quick and easy. We just inserted the required batteries, and followed the simple instructions to create our code. There is a factory set code, but you’ll definitely want to change this. Your code can be either four, five or six digits.

Gun safety:
If a household possesses firearms, it is of the utmost importance that they are consistently secured and not easily accessible, especially when children are present. Take maximum security measures by locking-up firearms and storing them in a safe and in an out-of-sight location that is also out of children’s reach. The Sentry Safe Quick Access Pistol Safe provides readily available access when needed in an emergency, but its pry resistant solid steel construction helps prevent unauthorized access. Remember to always remove ammunition before storage, and keep ammunition in a locked location separate from firearms.
Another item you might want to consider if you have children in your home (or kids that visit frequently), is the Master Lock 107DSPT Gun Lock. Designed with a deadbolt locking mechanism, it can only be opened and closed when the key is inserted. One can never be too safe!
