Although you can’t tell it here, the calendar says it’s now Spring. I like Winter for the snow, we’ve had our snow and now I’m over it…I’m now ready for warm weather.  Thinking about warm weather has me thinking about swimming, so when asked about reviewing Snapper Rock I was excited.

Snapper Rock makes children’s clothing that are UV50+ that includes hats, swimsuits, board shorts, and kaftans. Having 3 boys and only one girl, I knew almost immediately that I wanted to get Jaylin a cute little swimsuit. Her current one is the right size but the top keeps coming down in the front and even though she’s only 6, I prefer her chest not be exposed when out in public like at a swimming pool or the beach. Snapper Rock has a lot of cute swimsuits for both boys and girls. The girls swimsuits were so hard to choose from though. In the end I decided on a tankini for Jaylin and as soon as I saw the starfish pattern I knew it would look super cute on her. When her new tankini arrived from Snapper Rock she was just starting to deal with an ear infection that had ruptured her eardrum so she wasn’t feeling up for pictures, but she did put it on and refused to take it off. Being that she was sick I let her keep it on and wear it under her clothes for that day. She loved it and showed it to anyone we ran into that we knew. She then started asking when we could go to Great Wolf or to the beach so she could go swimming in her new swimsuit. She was very comfortable in it and I liked that when she wasn’t wearing clothes over it that day that the top stayed in place, and she was very well covered.

Jaylin and I both love the water shorts bottom that has a tie. The tankini top has a racer back. The swimsuit is quick drying, lightweight and breathable. It is made with flat lock stitching to prevent rubbing and like all Snapper Rock clothing, is UV50+ that blocks 98% of all harmful UV rays.

Jaylin can’t wait to actually use her new tankini. She keeps asking if it’s warm enough yet to go swimming. You can get this tankini from Snapper Rock for $52. They also have cute boys’ boardies and and sunsuits for babies. You can follow @snapperrock on Twitter or Like Snapper Rock’s Facebook page.
