“Mommy gut,” who here has it? As summer continues on, there are plenty of us that still are not too thrilled with our post baby bodies. Beaches and bikinis don’t really go hand-in-hand with after baby belly flab. It’s been years since my last little one was born, but I’m always up for a new fitness game plan. While most routines, diets, and exercise programs are geared toward satisfying everyone, it is rare to find the right one just for you. I recently had the chance to try out the latter half of a new fitness program designed just for us mommies and I love it!
The Dia Method is a fitness program, launched by Leah Keller, which came onto the market earlier this year. It features two kits for women in different stages of motherhood. The first kit, Prenatal: BellyGuard is designed specifically for women to continue exercising throughout their pregnancy while keeping workouts safe for, both, mother and child.
The nine-disc system includes three essential guides to prepare you for an easy labor and smooth recovery along with six safe workouts.
- Disc 1: Firm Foundation – Learn the Science behind the Dia Method and how it protects the abdominal wall during pregnancy.
- Disc 2: BellyGuard Workout – Protect and strengthen your abdominal muscles in just 10 mintues a day.
- Disc 3: Total Body Strength Workout – Strengthen and tone your entire body for a fit pregnancy.
- Disc 4: The Anti-Waddle Workout – Sculpt and strengthen your butt and thighs to stay sexy and avoid the dreaded “waddle.”
- Disc 5: Sexy Arms & Abs Workout – Define your arms and upper body as you strengthen and protect your abdominal muscles.
- Disc 6: Birth Power Workout – Train your “push muscles” and pelvic floor for a strong, safe, and powerful birth.
- Disc 7: Synergistic Strength Workout – Work your muscle groups simultaneously for a safe and efficient total body workout.
- Disc 8: Everyday Moves: Safe, Strong & Sexy! – Learn how to move safely in everday activities for a safe, strong, and sexy pregnancy.
- Disc 9: Empowered Labor – Prepare now for a strong birth: essential core training, birthing tips, and strategies for the big day.
In addition to a complete workout system in line with ACOG (The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists) recommendations for exercise during pregnancy, you will learn how to move safely in everyday activities, effective labor positions, and core training to help your pelvic floor to relax for an easier delivery.
No worries if you’re already on “post-baby” status. The Dia Method caters to moms at any stage of motherhood. Whether you’re just beginning your journey, just had a baby, or are now raising school-aged little ones, this program can be and is for you.
The Postnatal: 10 Minutes Flat kit is another nine-disc system but, this time, includes six workouts to help you achieve (and maintain!) the best body possible along with three (and 1 bonus!) essential guides to keep you in the best shape of your life through exercise and diet that is even safe while breastfeeding!
- Disc 1: Firm Foundation – Learn the science behind the Dia Method and how it works to restore firm, flat abdominal muscles after pregnancy.
- Disc 2: 10 Minutes Flat Workout – Firm and flatten your abs in just 10 minutes a day.
- Disc 3: Mama’s First Steps Workout – Strengthen and tone your entire post-pregnancy body.
- Disc 4: Sexy Mama! Workout – Sculpt and strengthen your butt and thighs.
- Disc 5: Toned Arms & Tiny Waist Workout – Define your arms and whittle your waist.
- Disc 6: Firm, Flat & Fabulous Workout – Firm and tighten your abs, shrink your waistline, and strengthen your back.
- Disc 7: Brava, Bella! Workout – Advanced total body workout that tones major muscle groups simultaneously.
- Disc 8: Everyday Moves: Healing Power – Learn how to safely lift your baby, push a stroller, and perform other new mom activities as you strengthen your core.
- Disc 9: Heal Faster & Flatter – Recover quickly and beautifully with these essential post-pregnancy tips (including post-Caesarean).
In addition to a complete postnatal workout system, you will learn how to recover from a C-section, strategies to harness the healing power of everyday activities, plus tips to maximize the benefit of wearing a corset. It’s never too late to get your body back, no matter how long ago you had kids… or how many you have!
I got to try out the subsequent of the two kits and while I’m not really up to making belly photos internet public, I can assure you that this program really does work. This momma already needs to go shopping for some new shorts after only having the Dia Method in our home for two weeks! I am excited to see the results after continued use and very well, may post an update in the future. Exercise and fitness is something that we try our best to work into our days and this is a great way to do it. At only ten minutes daily, the kids can actually join me in the workouts and there’s no need for babysitters to cover time (and money) spent at a gym.

Anna K’s success story sounds a lot like my experience with diastisis recti and gives me hope that I can get my abdominal muscles back the right way.
Sharon B had a lovely story.
Sharon B. – Getting physically ready and in shape to give birth is such an important thing and one which I wish I would have focused more on when I was pregnant with my son.
I hope what Lana H said about her back pain being gone will also happen to me!

Helen T’s “no back pain, no waddle” is the most inspiring to me… I don’t care about waddling but have had my share of back pain while pregnant
I was drawn to Atoussa S. I know the feeling of the baby weight just staying even after breastfeeding. I relate well with hidding in baggy clothes and thinkingI will never be like I was before children. Seeing her 5 in loss I think I maybe able to do it as well.
I like the Joy D story

Nydia S – as she said – anyone will benefit – my kids may be older – but that means my baby fat has been with me longer – LOL – it will leave 🙂
Jennie E is a good role model for this program. Usually after birth I lose a lot of weight and inches but it’s just the 3 inches that stick on for a year. This will be my fourth baby I’m about to give birth to in September and I hope to kick back in shape better than ever.
My girlfriend said the story by Sheelagh D. inspired her the most!
sharon b. I need to start my training now to be prepared!
My daughter is expecting dhild number two. Happy happy. Only problem she is upset she didnt lose weight from baby number 1. I keep telling her to be patient the baby is only 8 months old. If she wants to work out (she does) i want it to be a safe workout for her and the baby.
michelle g’s story is inspiring
The success story of Jodi M inspired me the most, it’s similar to what I am going through.
I think Sharon B’s story was most recant to me. I am about to be a new mom and am really excited there’s a program that have helped other women be prepared for their deliveries.
All of them, strong beautiful women!
Joy D’s story
I am most inspired by Sky K. story. After giving birth to four children and to still be able to firm and tone as she did is awe inspiring.
Thank you so much for the chance.

Sherri S.’s story inspired me. I think my sister would really benefit from this. Thanks so much for the chance! 🙂

I liked Sharon B’s story. The workout helped her to be prepared for her first baby and for labor after training.
I really liked Kristin H’s success story, especially where she talks about feeling empowered.
