A while back I used to be obsessed with games like Farmville, Frontierville, and a couple other “-ville” games on Facebook. I stopped playing all of them, some because they got too complicated, some I just lost interest in. I was recently asked to play Tail Towns Friends and see how I like it.
When I first started the game it was automatically cute, who can resist little cute mice and other little animals. Some of the features remind me of other games I’ve played. The one thing that stuck out to me was that everything had a little story to go with the goal, it kind of give you a reason to complete the goal. I think my favorite character is Val. I met her when I first “moved” into the town. The reason she’s my favorite is because she’s a blogger!
The main story is that there is a bad guy who is trying to put small business out of business and your job is to help them keep their store, cafe, etc going by supplying them with fresh product from your land. It’s been fun growing fruits, vegetables and flowers to sell and now making juice with the fruits to sell. For the goals you have to do a lot of different things such as gather a certain amount of fruit, vegetables, flowers, etc or ask your neighbors for items. For me right now it’s getting difficult because I only have a few friends on my list who play the game, despite me inviting a lot of my friends to play. Since it’s a new game I expect others to join in soon as they hear how cute it is and that it’s fun to play.
One fun thing about Tail Towns Friends is that you can go back and forth no only to your neighbors/friends but to the town to do other things like sell things and talk to other characters. One by one you get to click on different shops, buildings to work on your goals.
Something else that makes Tail Towns Friends stick out from the other games, they have figurines! I was sent the Fashion Designer and am now working on the goals that goes with her. Each figurine has a secret code that unlocks items to buy and also goals to finish. I’m enjoying it. Plus, look how cute this figurine is.
I have fun playing this free game on Facebook. You can check out and try it for yourself!

I’m so afraid to start playing haha. I have enough distractions that I don’t need another one. Sounds like a great game!
FB is a time sink for me without playing any of their games.
