Mmmm Italian Roast Coffee. I think I have mentioned a time or two how much I love rich, bold coffee. One of my favorite K-Cup portion pack flavors is Sumatran Reserve. I now have another favorite (is that possible?) – Barista Prima Italian Roast!
I was sent a box of the Italian Roast K-Cup Portion Packs as part of the K-Cup Ambassador Program, along with some other goodies, including lady fingers, chopped hazelnuts, chocolate chips, mint extract and more.
In case you were unfamiliar with this, adding coffee to baked chocolate goodies really intensifies the flavor. We were asked to make a Brownie Tiramisu, which calls for the Barista Prima Italian Roast Coffee, and share with our readers.
I have never made Tiramisu before, and I gave it my best shot! Although the brownie portion of the dessert didn’t turn out as well as I had hoped, the coffee definitely added flavor. Here is my Tiramisu experience:
