I have decided to take part in The 31 Day Photo and Prompt Challenge at It’s Gravy, Baby! There are daily prompts {as the name suggests – duh!}, and you can pick and choose which days you want to participate. All of the days are already listed. There really are no rules, which makes it super easy to join in!
Day 1:
A photo of yourself with 10 facts.

- I am short
- I am extremely funny {well I amuse myself at least!}
- I was the only one in my senior class to pass my senior thesis on the first try.
- I am OCD about the bed sheets and blankets. They have to be perfectly even and taut before I get into bed.
- On one of my birthdays, I received money from Gordon Getty {Really. Know how much? $1.00. Yep.}
- I am incredibly sensitive to all things animal. I cannot watch a show where an animal is being hurt – or even hear about it. It haunts me.
- I am an excellent cook.
- I am a huge Tom Jones fan
- I’ve had five surgeries: both shoulders, both hands/wrists {carpal tunnel}, and gallbladder.
- I am not pleasant before I have had coffee. You do not want to tangle with me pre-coffee, it’s not pretty at all.
So there you have it! That is probably more than you ever cared to know about me.
I hope you’ll join in the 31 Day Photo & Prompt Challenge – I would love to hear all about you!

I’m starting the challenge tomorrow for the first.
beautiful photo. and great facts, mine (I did it already) is a little more long winded 🙂
Oh good – I think this is so fun. I can’t wait to read about you!
Very cool. I can totally see the thesis thing. And your bed sheets fact made me laugh.
Did it? It’s so funny because my husband has to have other things “perfect”, but he doesn’t care about the bed sheets, so it drives him nuts!
Glad to get to know you better! I am short too and have had my gall bladder out.
You too huh? LOL funny how we have 2 things in common out of 10 🙂
What’s new pussycat? (I love Tom Jones too)
Just went and looked at the challenge, I like this! I set up a reminder in my calendar so hopefully I will do it all thru March.
Yay another Tommy fan!!! Have you seen him in concert? Oh good, I hope you participate too 🙂
No, I’ve not ever seen him live. Just on TV.
Hello! I cannot watch those commercials. My husband knows to fast forward through them.
The surgeries did help – completely! The only problem is that my muscle strength in my right hand isn’t quite as good as it used to be, but there is no more tingling, pain, numbness, etc. I highly recommend it!
I’m off to check out your post now!
The surgery definitely helped me!
Thank you Nolie! That just made my day. You too on the coffee? I think those that live with us understand the whole concept. They usually stay out of my way until they hear me slurping on my coffee lol.
ROFL wow that IS bad! Even the kid wants you to drink up!
You are so pretty in that picture! I can’t wait to see all the pictures that you will post!
Beautiful picture, love your brown eyes. I too am not pleasant until I have had my caffeine, but I prefer diet coke. I wouldn’t have pegged you short though, for some reason, I always pictured you as tall.
Why thank you! I love Diet Coke too – I usually have one with my dinner. Yep – I’m 5’2…a shrimp 🙂
Are you really that bad pre-coffee?? I met you, and you’re way too nice for that. But you are right about the short. Of course, I like that you’re short like me. 🙂
Well, now, see…you saw me AFTER coffee! I am actually nice (outside the home) before coffee…usually 🙂 Yep – we are both short – I love that!
I am so with you on the coffee thing. One of my senior quotes was even about coffee!
It has been great getting to know you and I hope you have had your coffee. lol Have A Great Day
popping in from the Challenge, that is such a great photo of you! Love it!
I am another caffeine addict! I cannot function without and feel like a zombie if I don’t have any.
I am definitely the same way about animals. Seeing my cat so sick right now is breaking my heart.
How is Fluff doing? I was hoping she’d be much better 🙁
I don’t like to talk to people before I have had my coffee either. Just let me have that few moments in the moring, ok?
Mkay – I’ll try to remember that 🙂
What a beautiful photo of such a beautiful woman – inside and out!
I’m the same way about my coffee, my kids used to make sure that I had my coffee each morning – but not just because I’d be irritable, I would get a migraine.
I can’t wait to see the rest of what you do for this project. If I felt better, I’d try to do it… I just had to give up on my 365Project.
Thank you! What nice kids you have. Mine don’t bring me coffee, they just run away from me :0 – but I don’t get migraines like you either.
I do hope you can join in this project somewhere along the way. You don’t have to do every day, or you can jump in when you want. I sure hope you feel better soon (hugs)
This looks like alot of fun! I am already doing the March Vlogging Madness but figured.. I can do both!
Oh I keep meaning to check out the vlogging one…that sounds fun! And yep – you certainly can do both!
This is a great meme to do! I may have to do it even though today is the 2nd. I could do two posts tonight & catch up. I can’t wait to read all your posts!
You could definitely do that! You don’t even have to do each day, if you don’t want to.
