Buitoni pasta, premade tortellini

This is what we had for dinner last Wednesday–Whole Wheat Three Cheese Tortellini with Pesto and Roasted Broccoli. I could have spent a few hours making the tortellini by hand and another 20 minutes whipping up the pesto myself. But instead, this entire meal took 20 minutes to make. The secret?  Buitoni.

I love to cook, but I’m a busy person. I don’t have time to martyr myself over hand-crimping ravioli, you know? Buitoni pastas and sauces are great because they’re housed in the refrigerated case at the grocery store–meaning they taste fresh, like you made them yourself. It’s nice to be able to save time and still give your family the very best. Add some fresh veggies, like I did here with the roasted broccoli, and you’re good to go–a complete meal in minutes.

Basil is quite possibly my favorite herb–it has a distinctive flavor that shines through in Buitoni’s Pesto with Basil. If you’re a lover of parmesan, as I am, you’ll appreciate this pesto for sure.

The Whole Wheat Three Cheese Tortellini was a hit with us too–I was quite surprised to see that Buitoni had whole wheat options and this particular pasta paired nicely with the pesto. With selections ranging from Sweet Italian Sausage Tortelloni, Roasted Garlic Marinara Sauce, and complete frozen Riserva meals, Buitoni has something for everybody. The possibilities are endless!

  183. I feel so bad for you & your blog! I know very well how it is very frustrating with computers in general! I’ve had it with all of mine & almost put mine (well my daughter’s, I should say!) down for a really long time! My pc had some problem & now doesn’t recognise the operating system, my laptop’s harddrive just died after 4 years of extended warranties, & then I started using my daughter’s laptop & gave it 2 viruses!! so as you know, there are many problems to be had that will make you cry! So I know how you feel, even though I don’t know the exact problem, I feel for you!! So please don’t give up, keep on pressing on!
