The Book Thief Movie

Every now and then, a movie comes along that absolutely sucks you in from the start. After watching the trailer for The Book Thief, I think this might be one such movie. It looks exciting and fascinating! This will be the perfect movie to take my teenage daughter to over the holidays – we can sit all warm and cozy in the theater while being taken away into another world.

Not only does The Book Thief look enchanting, I like the message it sends to young adults.

The Book Thief is based on the beloved bestselling book and tells the inspirational story of a spirited and courageous young girl who transforms the lives of everyone around her when she is sent to live with a new family in World War II Germany.

The Book Thief stars Emily Watson, Geoffrey Rush, and Sophie Nélisse and is directed by Brian Percival.

I adore Geoffrey Rush (what a fantastic actor!) – this makes me want to see the movie even more!
