I have some random thoughts floating around in my head (that seems to happen often!), but none are worthy of a whole blog post. So here goes:
Why do I keep finding weird things around the house? The other day there was a Piglet pen on my bathroom counter. Where did this come from? My kids are teens, and it just makes no sense. I look over and there is a plastic straw in my bathroom sink. Again – who puts a plastic straw in my sink? The other day I found a candle in the refrigerator. I later found that my daughter put it in there just to be silly. Okay fine. Yesterday I opened the refrigerator to find this:
Now this just made my giggle hysterically for some reason. You see, this little reindeer fell off of some holiday socks I bought for my daughter and she has been asking me to sew it back on. Was this a hint? I don’t know, but I had a hard time eating my breakfast because I was in a total giggle fit.

Oh to be a kitty in my house. In my next life this is what I want to do:

Spoiled brats!
Last night my daughter and I went grocery shopping. My husband asked me to pick up Sara Lee Cinnamon and Raisin bagels for him. We were in the bread aisle and I was crouching down to look at the bottom shelf. I said to her, “Oh man, they have every other flavor but this one…well I don’t know if he minds Thomas’ bagels…oh crap but he was very specific that he wanted Sara Lee!”. I grabbed the Thomas’ bagels, stood up and the person next to me was not my daughter. It was a man staring at me – as I was talking LOUDLY to myself. I looked up and down the aisle, my daughter was nowhere to be found. I hate it when that happens – I must have looked like the crazy shopping lady.
I drive past this tree every day while taking my daughter to school. I finally remembered to bring my camera today. Isn’t this gorgeous?
This tree literally bursts with color. It is hard to see all of the shades in this picture, but I am in awe. This whole street is lined with trees like this and it is gorgeous!
I always lose the tape and scissors while wrapping presents. Do you do this? I put everything right next to me, and I need the tape. It’s gone. I look under wrapping paper, I look to my left and right, behind me, and it is nowhere to be found. I get up to get more tape, sit back down and can’t find the scissors. This happens to me EVERY SINGLE TIME. It takes me three times as long as it needs to to wrap one present!
