Have you ever went to the store to get something and realize it’s no longer being sold? The manufacturer discontinued it? Well, a couple of years ago that happened to my husband, Jeff. He asked me to pick up some of his favorite pizzas, Totino’s Party Pizzas, and to get a certain topping, Mexican Style. Only when I got to the store they weren’t being sold anymore. He checked it out online and realized they weren’t being made anymore. Eventually he found a Facebook group titled “Bring Back Totino’s Mexican Style Party Pizza”. The Facebook group got the attention of General Mills who decided to bring back the Mexican Style Totino’s Party Pizza for a limited time. To celebrate, Totino’s sent me a Party Pizza prize pack so my husband could try the newest Mexican Style Pizzas.
Jeff had seen on the Facebook group that David Hlavac, the guy who started the “Bring Back Totino’s Mexican Style Party Pizza” page, had been surprised at work with a Mariachi band, a year’s supply of his favorite pizza, $500 in bonus Box Tops for Education for his children’s elementary school and other prizes. Of course Jeff made me go on the hunt for the Mexican Style Pizzas, I eventually found them and just about cleared the shelf of them for him.
No sooner than we got home he was fixing a pizza for himself. He usually lets his pizza sit for what seems like forever to let it cool, this time he barely waited any time at all before he was cutting it and devouring it.
Jeff’s take on the new Mexican Style Totino’s Party Pizza:
I’ve waited 6 years for this day to come. I am not disappointed. Different from the original, but still good, I’d still eat them over the others.
The Mexican Style Party Pizza includes a crisp crust with taco seasoned chicken and beef pizza toppings including green peppers, onions and cheese toppings. The suggested retail is $1.39 for the 10oz package. Get them quick because they are only being sold for a limited time!

Hamburg is my favorite topping with green peppers and onions. The Totinos mexican style looks so good. The 10oz is perfect for a personal pizza. I like that they offer a 10oz because that way we can all have our favorite. I had no idea they had come out with a mexican style pizza so now I just have to look for it and give it a try.
